this is the video that helped me choose a 1.5 carat diamond solitaire for my wife. God bless you guys!
Extremely useful and well-produced, thanks!
Great size comparison. I personally don't like diamonds too big, just my preference. I like 7/8th ct to 1 ct the most, more than enough bling for me.
I just ordered a 2.50 carat VS1 G ..I hope she likes it !
I think the footage/video for the 2.5 carat didn’t make it onto the final edit. I’m loving your videos! Subscribed!
I got my fiancé a 2.50ct center diamond with a 3 stone setting ring for a total of 3ctw in a 18k yellow gold her finger size is a 9.50 and it looks fantastic
6.26 when you're using the diamond finder online, it did not let me choose "Ideal, Astor Ideal" for marquise shape (& other shape) diamonds.
My engagement ring was 1.35 carat solitaire. For our one year anniversary and also to commemorate my Master’s graduation we are combining our funds to upgrade to a 2 - 2.5 carat… these videos are helping so much. I think with my size 6.5 finger I will stick to the lower end of 2 carat.

@@KAYTEEZIE totally get it. I went to shop around for 2 carats and indeed it was too big. Although I live the bling lol …. I am now changing my mind about a ring and thinking of heart shaped diamond, but not in a ring setting, rather a pendant

I could swear I’ve seen you before on a flossing/brushing demo video and thought you were a dentist! Fancy seeing you here!

I think 1.75 is beautiful. Add a lovely band. Perfect for me.

To me when they get that big, it looks like costume jewelry especially if it's a lab grown because I know how low they cost. But to each their own.

@@usfanlovesminho5085idiot, lab grown diamonds that are 3ct D are 8-10k. The diamond is also exactly the same as a natural diamond. It’s like paying an insane premium to use ice from the arctic instead of using your freezer. Lab grown diamonds are ethical, better value, and actually more perfect lol. But keep falling victim to the debeers corporations marketing lol
Do you think 2.5 clarity M is a good choice?
@Shilohraynee

Probably better to go up in clarity and down in size. 2.0 with vs2 clarity at minimum

I Iike 1 carat ring small ring my finger are small
Just go with one carat and upgrade to a bigger rock for your 10 or 20 yr anniversary.

Both reputable graders. GIA are known to be more consistent with mined diamonds. However with lab grown IGI and GIA are just as good as each other, if anything IGI is considered better for lab grown.

@@lukemiller539 GIA is the most reputable in not just the US but internationally with AGS coming in a close second. IGI fluffs their grading, for Cut let's just say they're very loose with their "ideal" grade. You can research and find out more.
I guess everyone wishes that they are rich and can afford to buy a 2 plus carrot diamond ring for her,but you have to match it with a lifestyle of a 100k auto and now must have 3 million dollars house. Is she marrying you for love or your money?

@@southernbelle850 Exactly. It looks like some cheap looking imitation! Some people just don’t value quality and rather have something cheap. I pity those people. Can you imagine how ridiculous a cheap little monisate will look, let alone a 4 carat one. LOL! If that person wants to buy a cheap 4 carat monsiate it will not look good, because I can almost guarantee they will live a lifestyle that will not match with a 4 carat ring.
