#1 BEST Japanese Ramen in The Country!
Okiboru House of Tsukemen finally opened in New York and this is one of my favorite Japanese ramen shops in the world. Got to see how the noodles were made before their grand opening.

Yeah why do I always watch these videos at night. Makes me so hungry 😂
This is one of the better videos in a while. Nice to see behind the scenes and what makes the noodles special which is really cool!
I recently got back from a month in Japan, tried Tsukemen for the first time and I’m pretty sure I had an outer body experience. By far one of the best meals I’ve had, period.
I love when Mikey is invited to check out behind the scenes at restaurants and buffets ♥️

The guy should wear a hairnet when he makes the noodles. In fact all kitchen personnel should be wearing one.
Your happiness when eating is always immensely palpable, Mike, and it's one of the biggest reasons I follow you. Also, your videos are fun, lighthearted, and classy, and I love that you can take me away from my mundane existence with your eating adventures. I gather this is an older video?
one whole video of you just slurping great ramen is a treat for me😄
Your content is still my absolute favorite! I hope one day I get to travel to all these places and try this kind of food. Now I need a bowl of ramen
Mike definitely has a wig on.
I fell in love with the guy from the first place that made the noodles
Looks amazing! Putting this on the life wishlist :D and definitely pinching the cold water trick to keep chewy noodles!
So jealous! I use to work at the LA location, and cannot get that tsukemen out of my mind! So delicious no other place compares! They need to open up a location here again! 😭

I don't think so. Daikokuya and Santouka were far better ramen in general. The Tsujita chain opened La Artisan and their Tsukemen is pretty dang good as well (and the broth is far better). And, all the other top ramen chains in Japan are littered across LA now and introducing their versions as well (since its become so popular).

Why did they close their LA location down if it was so popular and good?

@@RobertDhondrup I am specifically referring to the Tsukemen, the Daikokuya Tsukemen is basically just the ramen noodles and broth separated and lots of the ramen chains don’t even produce their own broth or noodles, there are other good ramen spots but they’re very few and not as fresh and authentic

Ramen is one of those dishes where you can literally put anything in it. The bowl and Ramen co-exist with each other. The broth is the key and the sides that go inside the bowl are the enhancers. I really love Ramen, I love Mikey's Videos. Can't wait until the next one!

I never miss your amazing and descriptive vlogs. Big up to the main man, Mikey👍🏽
I love that in every video his shirts are always wrinkled! Packing. Balls them up, throws them in his carry on, pulls them out crinkle as EFF, He don't give AF cause my vids are always the BOMB!
So glad I have this in Atlanta. Truly a flawless bowl of ramen
love your work bro!!
It looks better than the top ramen that I had for lunch today 😋
Thanks for the video. I'm here right now! Can't wait for my bowl to arrive!
By running the noodle dough through the machine a few times you stretch out the gluten strands, that’s in part why it’s got such great mouthfeel.
What sets you apart from other food vloggers, is how descriptive you are with all items. I can taste new flavours through my screen, just by listening to you!! Thank you for a wonderful and imaginative experience. You're awesome! 💜

Agreed. A lot of food vloggers (not going to name any names because I try to be a nice guy) will also act like everything is delicious. Mike also have isn’t afraid to say that something could have been better or that it didn’t blow his mind. I’d eat where he eats and order what he orders.

Great video Mike!
I don't think I have ever seen Mike rendered speechless! But here it is. Left without words---must be amazing noodles.
When I see Mikey Chen has a new ramen video, watching it takes high priority on the to-do list!
I LOVE their tsukemen! For anyone that's not in NYC, they have two locations in Georgia(Sandy Springs and Duluth). I always go to the Sandy Springs location when I visit home :)
So great seeing how they made the noodles. They looked so delicious and loved the look of the sauce/broth to dip the noodles in. Wow.
I’m in NYC and I’m definitely going !!!
Amazing video 🥰🥰 I’m in Japan right now and Ramen is one of my favorite dishes.
Love watching your videos!! Keep up the good work !
Whenever I feel like snacking. I watch Mikey.
I love eating, thank you for sharing your beautiful videos
Love the content Mikey keep em comming , appreciate you sharing food can't wait to travel for food!!!
Those ramen bowls were gorgeous, granted I've yet to enjoy the dipping one. I wish their business much success, in great health. When you turned the corner in the second scene, 'that's Flushing!'🤗 , yelled from my mind, and there you were. Delicious food to be had there as well. *Punctuation edit.. At my most favorite hole in the wall place in SF's Chinatown, I was always embarrassed to request more rice and never did. I'm a plate cleaner and not one grain was ever left behind... Great video, glad I saved it for the wakened hours..
We have an awesome soup place in Quincy, Mass called Mr. Pickled Fish, reminds a lot of that fish soup you had. I literally order from there once a week, the signature pickled fish soup. Next time you're in the area I highly recommend.
Visiting in Kirksville last week and thought of you. That ramen looks amazing.
I would love to have you visit Kizuki Ramen in Plano, next time you are in the Dallas area. We strive to deliver moments of joy through our authentic Japanese ramen, from the food to the decor and our one house philosophy we live by at kizuki.
Excited to watch again. Your US and Europe vlogs are amazing.
I ate at the Okiboru in Atlanta with my family. We got every item on the small plates menu, a sake flight, we all had ramen, and dessert all for $287. It was amazing too but I was really surprised at how affordable it was.
I thought I followed you all this time and I’ve been binging your account😭❤️
If I ever end up visiting NY I will deffo make a special trip to try this restaurant!
I love watching your video I’m gonna subscribe❤❤❤❤
Can't wait to try it soon! :)
You make noodles look so good. Everytime I eat similar dishes from restaurants, it never tastes as good as it looks on your vids 😂
Wow, looks so great! I'm sure you will be going to Japan eventually now that they are opening up, can't wait for that to happen soon! :D
#1 ramen spot thats not even your own ramen shop
I’m off the whole next week I’ll be sure to come here, I’ve been waiting ramen for the longest 😋
those noodles have that GLOW
Today is the Day to try this spot🎉 we’re from Germany and are very excited
It's interesting and inviting restaurant. The food looks sumptouos and mouthwatering. Cheers and have a blast.

This looks delicious and addicting. I am diabetic and cannot eat these carbs. Not fair so I’ll watch Mike eat it.
When id your ramen resto opening up mikey? Very excited for your review on it
Now, i’m so envious of you eating those noodles bowls. Tomorrow, I will check in my city for this kind of restaurant. So disturbing in my mind
Lol everything is fragrant when you literally inhale your food
I hope they stay alive through the future recession. I pray everyday, I hope all these good people and Mike’s family get through this.
