I visited the UK in college on a choir tour for two weeks in 2003. Everyone was bitching about the food because "McDonald's here is not like at home". I never once went into a international chain. I was asking locals "where do you like to eat?" I had an amazing time, tried some great food, hung out with awesome host families. I would definitely go again. Definitely spent literally 6 hours in Harrods. Like all day.

Rewatched your Singapore videos and I realized that you put the pricing on those videos. I like that you did that. Your newer videos doesn't have a price on it anymore. I understand that your pallet has evolved and so have your dish prices however, it would be nice to see how much you paid for each dish so that it gives us a better understanding on how much it will approx cost if we were to visit and try the dish. Love your content and keep up the awesome work.

I bet Mike would go head over heels for Nordic sandwich cakes, especially ones featuring smoked salmon. They're a traditional savoury centrepiece on tables set for celebrations like graduation parties, weddings, etc. I know they're a thing at least in Sweden (smörgåstårta) and Finland (voileipäkakku). The really good ones, whose creation approaches an art form, are legendarily succulent. People used to identify the really skilled cooks who made a great sandwich cake and make a point out of ordering one from these trusted artisans (perhaps a bakery or a grandma). If you're not digging into the rich variety of British cheeses out there, you're missing out.

If you get the chance to buy some ham to make your own, I'd rub some garlic on lightly toasted sliced baguettes (you can do this in the oven if you need it to stay warmer longer, though rubbing the garlic might take a bit then as it's hot!), drizzle some olive oil and just put it on top. Both open and closed sandwich are pretty nice.

The city is very friendly for people on foot and the train station is next to the main part of the city. Go to Bettys tea rooms, have lunch by the river, fish & chips or a curry. Full of history and it's in beautiful Yorkshire.

My favourite Iberico roll. Crispy bread, and lots of Iberico, full of flavour explosions, melts in your mouth, no sauces or salads. If you haven't tried something similar before, this is first go sandwich. You should have tasted Sushi or Meat restaurants! There is Chinese restaurant on top floor, food is pretty good as well.
