What camo scheme should I paint next?

I suggest german late-war Liebermunster. Or maybe doing other factions like British commando.

@@paintingpanzers That's great to hear, looking forward to those tutorials! Also would you mind telling me the size of the base you use for 20mm they look perfect with the minis? I assume that they are 25mm?

I really appreciate that mate 🙌
Another great video.
Nice tutorial again. I might give it a try. Yet, for variation, you can also use luftwaffe blue for the German paratroopers breadbag. The Luftwaffe blue was used throughout the war, although the Last period it was a mixture of collors for the German paratroopers, if i'm right.

Thanks a lot buddy :D :D
The implied rain marks works really well, I know it's not actually there but it tricks the eye (camera in this case I suppose) really well. At this scale I guess it's better to get a general idea rather than trying to go into lots of detail, it'd make it look really busy and cluttered. Love this series a lot, the SS Oak Leaf video was in my recommended and I subbed immediately lol.

Welcome aboard buddy! Thanks so much for subscribing and I'm over the moon you've been enjoying the camo series :D That's my thoughts exactly with regards to the rain marks, we just need to trick ourselves into believing the marks are there opposed to paint black lines which just blow out. Jump on the giveaway if you haven't seen it yet, it ends on the 5th ;)
Subscribed. Another great video with great results. This one will come especially handy as I'm mainly using Vallejo paints. Say, what Vallejo paints would be the alternative to your Splinter Pattern Camouflage Painting video?

Fantastic, thank you so much buddy 🙌 honestly, I'm not 100% sure when it comes to VJ paints and Splinter. I'll look into it but I wasn't satisfied when I first attempted it with VJ paints, hence the change to AK.

@@paintingpanzers What's the difference or advantages of AK 3rd gen. paints over Vallejo in your opinion... I have noticed you have some colour equivalents between this two ranges. Oh, I should also mention I paint 28mm miniatures so there's probably also some difference how the paint look comes through in comparison to smaller scales.
@paintingpanzers

@WoodlandIndian honestly, it's probably just the fact that they seem to have the colours in a set, ready to go. The paints have so far been a little bit more thinned down which is an added bonus IMO. Especially when painting finer details as the paint doesn't dry as quickly. Don't get me wrong, both are absolutely fine but if you want a quick splinter paint set for example, the AK set is awesome. I'd say they'd look even better on 28mm models too 😉 I'll try to come up with a list for Vallejo paints and Splinter. The colours used in this tutorial for the green and brown would work fine for splinter too. It's just the base colour I struggle with.
What paint brush do you use?
@paintingpanzers
Жыл бұрын
I use Rosemary & Co Series 33 Sable brushes. They're superb and the tip doesn't damage as easily. I primarily use 2/0 at this scale. The brush in this video was a Tamiya one and the tip went bad really quickly. I love most Tamiya stuff but this brush wasn't the best.

@@paintingpanzers great, I'll have a look. Do you mix your paint with an older brush then more do your detailed one?
