    Good job, but there's the ecu on the engine to relocate. Me, as I changed 3 of them, i just made an L shaped flange with two bolts on the side of the right shock absorber place (you will find two bolts flanged on the metal), then i drilled two holes in the flange and put the ecu. I also opened a 30-40cm of the original electric cords and cut two as they are not longer than 8cm and then goes directly from a sensor on the fuel pump to the edu plug. Then added a piece of electric cord to make these two cords longer

    Hi Bob, just wondering: i havent delete my egr yet...but, can we just screw a bolt in that T shape in that 1 left hose conected to nothing? Like that little 2/3 cm hose? I dont want to take the T conector off. What change if i close that hose anyway even if i didnt delete the egr?? Thanks.

    I got a issue with my dti :( random rough idle not all the time but now it’s getting worse when I go to pull away sometimes it holds back loads and smokes like a train then if I let of and on again it’s fine I noticed I had 2 pipes coming of my old egr motor I blanked both one was connecting to the 3 piece T and other was of the egr I removed an I supposed to blank both ?

    Sounds like the crank sensor, have you done the pedal test for fault code? 0335 is crank sensor. Btw You don't need any hoses going to the egr solenoid, just blank the t-peice hose. Or better yet remove the t-piece altogether & join the only two hoses left( which is for the boost control solenoid )

    Aye that's it, just remove the egr hose from that t-piece & blank the NOW spare outlet on the t-piece. Or better yet , remove the t-piece altogether & fit a vacuum hose jointer, this is to connect the two hoses that's leftover👍btw if you pause this video & look closely I'v fitted a better t-piece but with a screw in the 3rd outlet hose.

    @@jakubjedrzejczyk473 I've got the same problem, the issue here is that the MAF sensor which is the one measuring the air entering the engine detects that the egr is not opening by looking at how much oxygen is entering in the engine. A remap should be done to get rid off that error. I tried with kess V2 and Ads Professional EGR remover but the error still appears. So I guess you need to map out the EGR code in the ECU.

  • @BOB-gu5qf

    @BOB-gu5qf

    3 жыл бұрын

    Its easy enough! just slacken the 4x17mm fuel lines & separate the metal lines from the injectors. Then remove the 4 rubber seals that surround injectors( 8x10mm’s) be careful to not damage these seals though. The rocker cover can now be removed(all 10mm heads bolts iirc🤷‍♂️) it is a wee bit fiddly to get over injectors. Once it’s back together leave the 17mm metal lines hand tight as there’s air in the fuel lines. Turn the engine over & watch them until there’s fuel leaking out all 4 lines,try be quick on tightening them, also grease the rubber seals before refitting them! Keep me posted🤙
