The csx YN2 SD40-2 is the rubbish engine that I don't like because of the front ditch light

Awesome footage! Love all the smoke belching sd70macs! I just found out today that CSX is purchasing the new tier 4 sd70’s very exciting! I remember when the flaired radiator MACS just hit the rails with their glistening paint I hope CSX decides to buy more after they give the small order a good testing.

3:15 *unfortunately CSX sold all of those to LTEX they all been retired and I think some of them were brought out by Norfolk Southern* 6:00 *fouled reversed k5la* 8:04 *csx 4531 has been rebuilt still in operation!* 10:50 *2213 is s road slug still in operation* 11:46 *CSX 1216 is still in service some of these have been retired but most of them are still in service a handfull it's surprisingly all of these are former Southern Pacific units!* 16:12 *7509 has been restored* 1:24:05 *699 is still in service it's in the same condition hopefully it will be restored soon* 1:31:52 *both of those units are still in service* 1:33:04 *if you're wondering why CSX 3029 has two boxes on the front those are HD cameras for the General Electric commercial they use it to film the General Electric commercial*

I’d have to say. This was one of my favourite video during my childhood! This Video was during the Glory Days of CSX where they had very few YN1’s, SD80MAC’s, YN2 EMD’s and More. Today tho, most of YN1’s and 2’s have been repainted or retired sadly and only a handful of YN2’s remain (specifically the AC4400’s and Dash 8&9’s :(

Back when CSX actually had SD70ACes, they were 20 of the first EMD demonstrators of the model. I'd say the rarest locos now that CSX no longer owns ACes or MACs would be their two EMD GP60's, 6797 and 6798.

The sd70aces may be retired and have a bad cab design, but they helped CSX on mainline freights with their power and were very reliable. So, I think CSX should buy 100 sd70aces.

Let me rephrase that. CSX should have numbered their fleet like this: SD70MAC: 4500-4719 AC4400CW: 1-615 ES44AC: 700-1249 And they should also have done this: They should have bought 480 SD70ACEs numbered 4720-5199

Also, in this video here are my top 3 favourite locomotives: 3. SD70MAC 2. ES44AC 1. SD70ACE. Also, if CSX would've purchased 480 SD70ACEs, EMD would've put up a great competition with GE. I miss them😢

PRLX took away the CSX SD70ACE and now they are taking a the ST70AH

Watching this video I noticed a lot of the dash8's there now up here on pan am railways they also have a bunch of b 40'8's

At 5:03 you can tell the 5946 is an ex. Conrail.

haha thanks, but I really do not like editing them! I tried to make it 2 hours, but it kept failing. I just wanted to try something different. I noticed I made a mistake, and put a shot of foreign power in there, which I tried not to do. I tried not to make any duplicates, I think that part worked ok....

at this point, there is a lot of rare sights in this vid. some of the actual "trains" no longer exist as trains, and a few of the locomotives pictured have been sold off, scrapped, or repainted in the new design.
