With lesson 6 we leave the Primeval History (Gensis 1-11) and we enter the Patriarchal History (Genesis 12-50). After the Tower of Babel rebellion, YHWH disinherits the nations (gentiles) and calls Abram. There are several encounters between YHWH and Abram that are startling and shocking. The Word will appear to Abram!
