In today's lesson we continue our study of the Angelic Rebellions. This episode introduces Genesis 6:1-5. The story of the sons of God marrying the daughters of man, resulting in giant children (Nephilim). We explore the two major interpretations of this passage - the supernatural and the natural viewpoints. We see there are major gaps in the natural view proposes these sons are of the lineage of Seth and the daughters are of the lineage of Cain. We conclude that the sons of God are supernatural beings or "angels." Strange, weird. We will spend some more time looking closer at Genesis 6, 2 Peter, and Jude in the coming weeks.
