Lol, I almost changed some sensor that some stupid mechanic told me to change to get rid of the oil change warning cuz it keep coming back on after pressing reset, after watching this my problem was solved for 0$, I feel like a dummy for loosing sleep over something this simple, thanks for this video 👍

SOLVED: I just figured it out. You have to press the setup button, then press it again, and scroll through the various menus till you get to essentially the last screen. Once there you can change the number od the “oil life” to what you want, whether be 100% 50% or what not. I believe you just press the select button it will it will cycle from in my case 70% to 60% to 50% all the way down to going back to 100%. At that point I just left it. Then, when I performed the setup test, it scrolled to 70%, and I pressed the Reset button to 100%. Case closed.

The red dot tells you if you have something that needs immediate attention, like you're overheating, oil life is at 0, or your door is open...the amber light means you have something that will soon need attention, like 20 percent oil life, low washer fluid etc
