Here after Mac took the NBA world by storm ! Well deserved
Here thanks to the dunk contest.
We got a banger on our hands folks 💯🔥🔥
Sat next to his mom at summer league in Vegas. Super down to earth lady and crazy supportive for her boy. Made me a fan. Didn't hurt that he's really fun to watch! Hoping he gets on the dubs roster

Two-time NBA slam dunk contest champion! 🔥 🏀 🏆
McClung became my favorite player very quickly. He gets way too much flack because he’s 6’2” even though every nba team has a couple of guys that are 6’2” and don’t have the hops and skill Mac has SMH.

It’s easy to hate him because his name was always floating around Ballislife. Once I actually had the chance to sit down and watch him play at Tech, one game in, and I knew he was the real deal. He can be a problem in the league off the bench if he continues his growth as a playmaker, and improves his defensive IQ.
7:20 lol thanks for acknowledging that. I’m no Kobe. No where near, but I do love to strive for more. I’ve been trying to find the balance between striving for more (for success and achievements) and being happy with what I have accomplished (for health and sanity)
Be back when he’s a star and this goes viral in 6 years.

Mac is mad underrated! Hope he gets a chance to prove himself!
Mac you have a special presence on the court. All the skills needed so the sky is the limit. Keep growing with it and the love of the game.
Just finished it and it really opened my eyes about plyos
Best interview with Mac by far , thank you we love Mac here in East Tennessee
Great discussion, would love to see some footage of those summer workouts 🔥
Yep, starting now I'm a fan whether he makes it or not he's just a cool dude with an awesome outlook and work ethic.
You are so inspiring man. I get my passion flame ignited watching and listening to you.
Awesome podcast. Have always wanted to hear more about McClung's story ever since seeing his dunks in HS. I would reposition the camera or mic next time so you can see his face clearer.
Dude is incredibly humble, mature and introspective. All the best on the path young gun! 💪🙏
View count on this and the collab program is gunna go UPPPP lol
Always got to pull for the underdog that just won't quit. And Golden State has a knack for giving them a chance when others won't. JTA, GPII, and now Mac. Hope he does well and finds a place, if not with the dubs, somewhere...
Hey Paul, just wondering if maybe we could get a full Plyo workout. Thanks
Damn coach! That's a good one. I'm listening right now 🔥

mmmhmmm dunk champion baby! mac mc lung can FLY 🎉
One thing that I always knew about Mac is that he will always be the hardest worker. I have no doubt he's constantly working out and on the court working on his game. Mac will make it to the league based on sheer work ethic. Also, the fact that no team thinks Mac couldn't help them during an 82 game season is crazy to me. Mac might be undersized but so was Steve Nash and John Stockton.
Great interview, I would be curious to see you interview Zion.
Canada here...push Mac, push!
I also believe you have to mentally focus on growth when training. It a mix of mental and physical to reach your limits
I never could dunk a ball until my junior year of high school. We would do heavy legs, hit the track and then coach would make us do plyometrics. Plyometrics helped so much with my second jump off the floor and just being explosive with every move. Highly recommend them.

Bro, great to hear you talking about the different aspects of athleticism. In the NBA people equate bounce to athleticism and miss out on so many important other aspects of athleticism, like with J Lin. Edit: then later you're talking about guys who develop strength, but contrast with athleticism. Damn, even you are caught up in the idea of athleticism being bounce. Fortunately, Mac saved you when talking about Steph and different types of athleticism.
@MuswellMunky
Жыл бұрын
Important comment right here. A lot of folks mean just ‘run and jump’ athleticism when they say ‘athleticism’, ie a narrowly focused definition. Rather than all the other elements around quickness vs speed, being able to de-accelerate, shift gears, stop on a dime et al.
Finally get the insight on how he got his bounce
What a mindset
Fireeeeeeeeeee 🔥🔥
Mac super cool and humble 🙏🏿💯
These interviews are so good, but we’ve gotta get a different angle or move the mic so we can see the face.
Paul, have you read the biology of belief by Bruce Lipton? I think you would like
I never did plyometrics till I started watching this channel and KOTG. It’s a huge game changer specially when I was considered slow and now I can explode without even thinking about it
MM: "I love to lose" beautiful
Could you please show us a full day of plyometrics?
a question: can I do phase one of vert code bodyweight and after phase one of mac Mclung bodyweight then phase 2 of vert code and 2 of Mclung etc... so go from basic to more advanced in both the programs or is it better to finish vert code and after do Mac Mclung bodyweight? then after the bodyweight programs i will pass to the elite programs... really thanks
Can someone bookmark his exercises in this video? Every time somebody talks about a vertical jump program it’s very vague and they don’t give away anything so please bookmark the meat and potatoes thank you

He should try to play in Euroleague
What’s his Strength coach instagram? Trying to see his gains
Mac mclung should go to the Denver nuggets. Or maybe orlando magic. He is magic. Bro I have nothing for respect for the guy that has one of the highest verts
Steph Curry probably has some of the strongest forearms in the nba. That’s part of why he can make a logo shot look easy while other have to chuck it. Great podcast btw.
@albertoo428

IMO most of the power comes from legs and hips when shooting, I don't think forearms are that important but steph is strong i agree
@appreciatenate3375

@@albertoo428 to me it’s from the arms because he barely jumps and the form is identical even past half court. Even dame moves his front foot forward more on logo shots. Steph can just run into it.
“He was despised and rejected- a man of sorrows, acquainted with deepest grief. We turned our backs on him and looked the other way. He was despised, and we did not care. Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins! But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the Lord laid on him the sins of us all. He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth. Unjustly condemned, he was led away. No one cared that he died without descendants, that his life was cut short in midstream. But he was struck down for the rebellion of my people. He had done no wrong and had never deceived anyone. But he was buried like a criminal; he was put in a rich man’s grave. But it was the Lord’s good plan to crush him and cause him grief. Yet when his life is made an offering for sin, he will have many descendants. He will enjoy a long life, and the Lord’s good plan will prosper in his hands. When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of his experience, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins. I will give him the honors of a victorious soldier, because he exposed himself to death. He was counted among the rebels. He bore the sins of many and interceded for rebels.” Isaiah 53:3-12 NLT "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16 God loves you so much and showed that by sending His Son to die for us so that we may inherit eternal life. We deserve hell but He gave us heaven through faith in Jesus. He took the punishment we deserved and by putting our faith in Him we can be saved. Ya I guess my dad was athletic just a d1 athlete lol
I don’t get wear people get the idea that steph is short dude is 6’3 he’s taller than tyrese maxey, Kyrie, Dame, Lou William etc
@jetrouski76

He's short compared to the average nba player, but only by like 3-4 inches. So he definitely isn't a midget, even in the nba.
Can a guy still develop his vertical jump in his 30s?

Mac McClung is a solid proof that athletes need plyos and not noodle stretches! Stop scamming people knees over toes guy!
@watcher3481

I quit playing bball 12 years ago at age 26 because it would take my knees two days to recover. I started KOT Ability Zero 14 weeks ago and I'm down 16 lbs and my joints are stronger than ever. I play at least twice a week now and do 1 on 0 sessions three times a week, using PJF training. I have Vert Code and will start the plyos portion after my men's league ends in August. I used to do 5x5 workouts - squats, deadlifts, etc and Bas Rutten boxing training, so it wasn't that I was in bad shape. My knees were just bad and now they're not so bad. I did plyos in high school, tore my ACL in college and finally back to playing years after I gave up on basketball. Many blessings to KOTguy and PJF for adding so much joy back to my life.

Both can be right on certain things, besides Mac's been athletic before this training. Sorry to tell you, but like 60-80% of athleticism is determined at birth and even slight workouts will let the athleticism be shown
