042824 FATAL MOTORCYCLE CRASH SH 249
At 9:40 am Sunday Montgomery County dispatchers started receiving multiple calls for a motorcycle crash on the northbound feeder of SH 249 just north of Hardin Store Road. The location is just several hundred yards south of the MCHD station. Units with MCHD and Magnolia Fire responded and found a male unresponsive on the shoulder of the feeder. Medics worked for close to 30-minutes to save the man but were unsuccessful. DPS investigated the crash and determined the Yamaha RI was traveling northbound at a high rate of speed when he struck the curb on the right shoulder and jumped it. The motorcycle continued for over two hundred feet before striking a tree and fence. The bike continued almost another 100 feet ejecting the driver and tearing off the wheel assembly. Montgomery County Forensics Investigators responded to the scene. Eickenhorst Funeral Directors transported the male to the Montgomery County Forensic Center for autopsy.. Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and Montgomery County Precinct 5 Constables Deputies assisted with traffic control. As the investigation continued several motorcycles different motorcycles were seen southbound on SH 249 in excess of 100 miles per hour.

As an old biker who still rides, this breaks my heart. The fact that the biker, and their 2 riding partners have no license plates, says a LOT about their lack of respect and behavior on the road. Too many riders never get a “second chance” to correct their mistake, and their first mistake can be their last. If you want to run fast, take it to the track!

I rode to work from 1984 until I retired in 2021. I would always call or text my wife when I arrived, and tell her whether or not anyone tried to kill me that morning. When streaming videos arrived a good 50% of the drivers were watching movies instead of the road.
I've been riding for many many years. In my younger days I was one of those people who felt as if nothing could happen to me. I drove like an idiot (speed wise) and was just lucky to have lived long enough to grow up and realize how dangerous it really is. I can imagine what must have been going through the rider's mind when he realised that he had lost control. Terrifying to say the least.

in the city where I live I can hear those type of motorcycles moving at very high rates of speed. it's always late at night or very early in the morning. I always dread hearing an accident like this one.

I tend to believe the posters who said he was pushed off the road. I wouldn't think that a rider on a straight unobstructed road, with a clear view, would simply run off the road and over a curb. I was run off the road like this once, on my Harley. I was on I75 South, just north of Flint Michigan with a pack of bikes that had gotten ahead of me. I was doing 75, in the left lane, with one bike behind me. A Chevy 3500 dually pulling a flat aluminum trailer was in the center lane to my right. I didn't like being next to it, so I gradually started pulling further up to get by, while watching his position in the lane. Sure enough, he started heading into my lane. I did not have sufficient power to pass him. I hit the horn, as did the bike behind me, but the pickup's driver and passenger were oblivious, and kept on coming, pushing me further and further left. I started slowing as much as I could, before I left the road. There was insufficient shoulder in that area, and debris in the median. There were also those noise ridges cut into what little shoulder there was. I released the brakes as soon as I hit the ridges, pulled the clutch in, and held on. The woman on back of the bike behind me was screaming, because she thought she was witnessing me getting killed. That big heavy bike bounced all over, like hell, but I stayed on, stayed up, and lived to tell. This man's conditions were worse, with a raised curb and rough ground, plus a storm drain. It's a miracle he held on for as long as he did. My sincere condolences go out to the rider's family and friends. I hope you find justice.

🤓👆” the engine is actually attached to 1 wheel.”
Straight away like that, likely three things happened: Another vehicle merged in front of him, forcing him over to the shoulder, car merged and made contact, lastly, bike went into a death wobble. Whatever happened, R.I.P fellow rider 🙏
Its called a donorcycle.

Sorry you never learned to ride but you comment shows lack of intelligence too .
I gave it up after 35 years of riding.. never had a wreck knock on wood! Just not worth it any more
Again?? I just said that on the last video of a fatal motorcycle accident. This is the revolving door that will never stop... People just wait a few days or a week and another will be posted...
Race tracks are for racing. Public streets are for riding.
Old rider here: Wondering how one loses control on a perfectly straight feeder. Errant wheelie?
I feel the need....for SPEED!
I been watching this guys stuff for years, trying to figure out why theres so many fatal accidents down there. Roads are good. Weather's consistent. Finally i see it. There never a shoulder down there. If there is, its a foot or so wide. You gotta pay more attention down there. Not good texting or unfamiliar. My cousin moved up here to michigan and said that also. Wider up here. Jus sayin. Keep up the good work.

A lady provided dash cam proof it was a hit and run and I can show you on my life360 they maxed out at 75. With so many witnesses saying otherwise, isn't it suspicious that they rushed to drop the case and post this so quickly? Time of the accident was 9:40 am, and this video was posted very quickly afterwards. So they had what, less than an hour to assess? Did they even look at the fucking evidence or just assume that because they were bikers they must have been in the wrong? You guys believe everything you see on the news and it's really fucking sad.

THIS IS FALSE FUCKING INFORMATION. I WAS HIS BEST FRIEND RIDING BEHIND HIM. HIS WIFE AND KIDS WERE IN THE CAR BEHIND US. WE WERE RIGHT THERE. A BLACK SQUARE SHAPED SUV HIT HIM INTENTIONALLY AND KILLED HIM. THE POLICE HAVE LET US KNOW TO TAKE THIS ARTICLE WITH A GRAIN OF SALT BECAUSE SCOTT ENGLE HAS A PUBLIC POLICE ARREST RECORD FOR FALSIFYING INFORMATION. DON'T BELIEVE THIS DISGUSTING FUCKING WASTE OF A MAN.
Slow down people, this isn't a race!
RIP 🙏
I find it interesting there are no plates on any of these bikes, even the ones just parked there....hm.....is that legal?

3:10 Geez his glove. Any rider knows a glove is very personal. My God a horrific accident. R1’s are incredibly powerful, the power is seductive but evil. RIP young man and prayers for the other 2 riders who were hanging back. 🙏🏼🕊️

@@kathrynhui2829how did you get away with saying the f-bomb in your comment?? I've said it, and KZread takes my comment down...
What did the rider look like?
Rip. Prayers for their family
You see a lot of KZread bikers just driving fast as hell with nothing ever happening. This is the one time something happens. There is no second chance in this.
Надо запретить продажу гоночных мотоциклов гражданским или может будем продавать формулу1 тоже!?
Fast and stupid, especially on a motor cycle, never wins!
Speed Kills!!!!
Um .. where's the body?
400cc is totaly enough for the city. Wanna rev Superbikes? Go and rent the track for 2hrs and go fast. It's not if,it's when youre gonna crash. If i was on a 750 when a car turned in front of me i'd have a bad crash. I managed to stop last moment because i was on a 250cc. Despite all that,i wanna ride.
Anyone know the name of the rider?

There was a lot going on in a very short period of time right there.
I went on a walk today. Lots of motorcycle riders out driving crazy. Not cool at all!!
That loooooong walk of death at the end says it all....speed kills.....
Reckless driving is never acceptable. I ride a touring bike and never go over the speed limit.
All of these need to be shown ever gorey detail young kids need to see this. They r goin wild on the bikes put here
Darwin Award WINNER, sadly. From a fellow ADV daily motorcyclist here: GO TO TRACK DAY at a racing track to get your "speed thrills" - the streets only get you killed as they're full of obstacles, like people, kids, animals, cars & potholes.
Sad. Don’t drive faster than your guardian angels can fly. Probably a guy around 20 or so that had a whole life in front of. Condolences to his family.
RIP 🙏🏻
what a shock....riding recklessly. No disrespect to that particular family member but I see this stuff every single summer so many of these guys just drive like absolute maniacs
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.
It looks like the motorcycle may have been cut off by a driver as it was illegally speeding down the road.
The only time I messed up with a motorcycle is when I bought one…sold it in 3 days
Hey Scott, suggestion: state cause of accident. Then thee judgemental people will be correct in their comments. Friends & families will be reading the comments. However, R.I.P.

It's not being reported correctly cause Montgomery county police department is corrupt. It's an easy out for them. Go look up Kay Alana Turner. Another case of "we don't have care, it doesn't fit our agenda" from the police

@@kathrynhui2829 I far from believe everything I see on any news source but poor or not if there was clear evidence and it was not reported there would have to be a reason and I totally get a cover up as it happens all the time but a simply gone viral video would solve all that.
Condolence to the family and to the biker rest in peace fellow biker 🥲
Well atleast he didn’t become paralyzed , that would be even worse .
Speed thrills but kills, RIP 😢
To be sitting on all that power you have to be very disciplined something I totally lack on a sport bike. Although this happened a few hundred miles away from me it still hits hard to see a biker go down. To the bikers family I definitely understand your lose and to the biker who lost his life I’m sure at some point I’ll see you on the road.
Sad stuff.
We're shown where the bike has hit the kerb but how on earth did it end up where it did?? Quite a distance away?

This just happened; details will be a bit scarce for a while. If indeed an SUV clipped him and pushed him into and over the curb, it deepens what a tragedy it was. Are eyewitnesses giving that info to LE?

What a waste of a beautiful motorcycle 😟 !
How to get his license? Too dumb no speed limits.
Makes a person wonder if the red on the pavement was blood because it certainly was not police spraypaint marks.
