Hey Michael, thanks for your great content. Do you know how I can move a set of subtools (transpose set) to world center, for example a character with multiple subtools? Somehow I can't find a quick way for this basic operation.

But after moving the model, how do you re-centre the pivot so that you can keep using the symmetry X ?

Hey, Michael! Could you tell me a way to align different subtools through their vertices? For example, placing one of the edges of a cube exactly in the center of a cylinder. This type of simple and essential functionality is present in other applications such as Maya, for example. Thanks.

IMM is the simplest, easiest way; there are plugins that will align stuff, but I've never had much use for them doing ZBrush work www.zbrushcentral.com/t/is-it-possible-to-precisely-align-things-in-zbrush/327579

How do you move the whole tool as one, keeping the relative locations of each subtool, and not just move one subtool at a time?

1- create a big box in the place you think should be the center of the world. All your model should be inside this box. 2- Zplugin->TransposeMaster-> T-poseMesh (Make sure you don't have any masks on your model.) 3- Use one of the video's solution. 4 - Zplugin->TransposeMaster-> T-pose subtool. 5-Done.

There is no position dropdown in my geometry tap. I'm a long time 3Ds max user, new to zBrush. This program fucks me up completely, and totally sets off my OCD. Why the FUCK are objects and meshes called tools? Why is nothing where it should be? Where the fuck did I go wrong in my life?? I just wanna center a fucking obj... I'm sorry, TOOL and make it not tilt at a skew angle in its native position, all straight, nice and neat! **frustration**

There's a Geometry > Position submenu for polymeshes, primitives, and zspheres, so if you have one of those objects selected, and you're in edit mode, I'm not sure what's happening, unless you're in an ancient version of ZBrush. If none of the above makes any sense to you, I'd start with the basics playlist instead of a random livestream highlight so ZBrush makes a little more sense: kzread.info/head/PLkzopwqcFevbxxNfZtq1ae09h1dht4S6M

@@MichaelPavlovich LOL thanks and sorry for my frustrated rant. As I said, I'm a 3ds Max guy, but I need to get comfortable with zBrush if I wanna keep my job. I found a work around a work-around for my problem but yeah... I have the student "Core" version. Maybe they skimped on a few features. Strange one to skimp on though because it's so important for usability. Thanks again for these great videos. Short and to the point for someone who is just starting and learning.

ZBrush position system is to deffcult I want my model have same position in Zbrush and maya.
