Chaos Phoenix - Working With Cascaded Simulators
Фильм және анимация
Learn how to cascade liquid simulators and create fountains, pools, waterfalls and more.
This is a reupload of a popular tutorial that I made in the past. The previous one had some issues with the audio, so here's an updated version.
Enjoy

Hello, Question for the third Cascade does it have to be a grid with initial liquid fill, suppose that we don't have square shape rather something curvy will initial liquid fill work the same ?

That’s right. It doesn’t have to be an ocean fill. The ocean fill option just make it easier to maintain the level. But it can be a liquid grid with any other parameters and sources.

Welcome!
thanks for this. i am not even able to do the first step. my first filles the whole siulation box instead of just the circular part so i am assuming i am doing something wrong while making the emitter from the main object. it would be really kind if you can share the scene as i am not a pro with phoenix but its always helpful to see the settings and play with them to learn better. the modelling part is important too for a person like me to learn.

Oh, I'm not even sure if I kept the scene, since this recording was made last year. But you can ping me privately and show me your settings, and we can try to figure out what is going on with your setup. Just have to note that the first simulator doesn't need the initial fill option enabled. That will fill the entire simulator to the level that is set. Instead, you need to right-click on the object itself and set an initial liquid fill in its properties.

That's correct. It is just one single frame that is frozen and stays still for the entire duration.

Hi! Thank you for reaching out. Unfortunately, due to my full-time job commitments, I am unable to dedicate the necessary time to teach an individual one-on-one. My suggestion would be to focus on a specific project or task you wish to complete. Commit to it by reading, asking questions, and watching tutorials related to that topic. I'm always happy to answer specific questions and provide assistance whenever possible.

if you did a step by step video would be useful. This on the other hand is not

I’m sorry that you don’t find it useful. Step by step videos are usually longer and I think fewer people are watching it.
