Thanks for the tip. Also I rewatched ur video and realized that I had bought and was trying to use the flexible magnets... the polarity actually seems pretty unstable on those

yup. the polarity on those flexible magnets are unreliable and thats one of the reasons i don't recommend. I found that out the same way as you experienced it lol.

Correction: I mentioned in the video that I use a 3/4" circular magnets for 1/2" insulation foam which is NOT correct. I use a 3/4" circular magnets for 1" thick insulation and a 1/2" circular magnets for 1/2" thick insulation foam.

For some reason mine don’t work once I glue them into the Foam board, I made sure they were on the right side. Do you know why that might be?

King Dev Supreme do you use hot glue? Cuz I haven’t had much problems using hot glue with these magnets.

Bro, can I use Sintra Foam in making dio's? because here in the Philippines I can't find Insulation Foam Board.

I'm not really familiar with Sintra foams +Kelly Concepcion. But from the looks of it, Sinta foam looks more like a foam board. I use foamboard/craft foam for accents only in my diorama. They're not really good as a primary material for the type of dios I'm making. Also, the thickness of the foam as well as the ability to carve on it may not be available.

I'm gonna stick to using styrofoams and fill it with plaster of paris. there's no hope to get those kind of foams here in the Philippines! btw thanks bro :)

Do u have any tips on how to get a magnet out of the foam after being glued? I checked the polarity of the magnets before I glued them but it seems like they are repelling. I don’t know how to get it out without messing up the board. Plz help lol

That happened to me a few times when I was just starting doing dios and using magnets for the first time. You gotta have a system when gluing those magnets to lessen that kind of mistakes like have the magnets connect prior to gluing. now to take it out, i usually just use one of my carving tool with a small hook and slowly pull it out. Another option you can do is heat it up using a hair blow dryer to loosen it up before pulling it out.
