    Love the ending. Yeah. After years of playing pubs and small venues a great opportunity for Desmond Dekker to really show how good he was. Respect to Jools Holland. As Desmond said to the end of his life he was the man who had the first rocksteady / reggae no 1 in the UK and top 10 in the US not his old welding mate in Kingston 10. A brilliant tune.

    I used to work in this pub in South London....not saying which one and had the pleasure of serving Mr Dekker on quite a few occasions; great guy... RIP Desmond!!!!

    i know desmond dekker and prince buster were legends in there life time, and there were also a lot of ska greats, but nobody ever talks about another great legend that had all the greats on his shows and who is a very talented guy him self. yes sir jools hollond what a legend the guy is a master musician.

    You probably refer to punk ska , from the third wave of ska. This stuff come from 1st wave of ska straight from kingston.
