This is a typical example that a good engine became useless for us in south climates because they did not design a good cooling system for this engine.So any problem with this motor will be water pump, thermostat,radiator,fan.It is also ridiculous the fact that they use only 1.2 liter of coolant for a 652 cc engine.

what is weight of that engine, does not seem more tham 30kg?

I was interested in knowing whether these Rotax motors can be enhanced for higher power output? Many blogs say that it is nearly impossible due to the EFI system.

tl;dr - I do not know:). EFI is not a problem in my opinion, because it is very basic. I have a power commander 3 for the bike, but did not tuned it for power (yet), just added a bit of fuel, because I am running with aftermarket exhaust and no O2 sensor. EFI just enters open loop mode and functions pretty well.

I have a motorcycle of the same kind, and I didn't find one of the engine cylinders.

Not sure, ~15k if documents are correct, no major problems, except corrosion from the outside, water pump. 2nd gear was sometimes popping out, but no visible damage inside (changed the gears with ebay used ones). It was more like a learning project for me.

@@VytautasValaitis I’ve read that the 2nd gear issue is a common one caused by a defect in the selector fork. I believe there’s an improved aftermarket fork available.

Interesting how some people like the music. In general, music annoys me on most videos. Regardless the style. Whatever. Personally, I’d have preferred useful narration describing important things to watch out for. Fwiw, I’ve just purchased a seized f650 and need to do this job.
