In this video I test the power conversion efficiency of a USB power adapter with input voltages ranging from 100V to 240V AC at 60 Hz. I describe the test setup and include a schematic diagram. I go through the tests including all my mistakes like forgetting to turn on the power and shifting the decimal point as a read the current. I catch the errors and everything turns out fine.
This is my first use of the Peacefair PZEM-020 Watt/Power Factor Meter. I like it quite a bit and now that I have tried it I plan on building it into an appropriate enclosure.
