Can someone explain to me the Laurence boss fight? Every time he does 1 or 2 attacks, backs off, and rinse/repeat? Is he resetting the AI so it does the same attack? Please, no flaming or smart ass remarks. A genuine response would be nice.

I think the AI's RNG looks at where you are relative to the boss and determines the most optimal attack given the circumstances. I had a huge problem with Laurence until I accidentally stumbled across a similar method where I can bait out that punishable attack 8 times out of 10.

Peri clod I found Bloodborne's bosses easier than DS3's. Of course all the bosses are harder than Vordt and shid, but bosses like the Twin Princes and Darkeater Midir seem much harder than anything i've had to beat in Bloodborne. The chalice dungeons are arguably harder than DS3 though, the Defiled Chalice was cancerous. Oh and when I say harder than Bloodborne that's excluding DLC, but I still think Friede is harder than Maria.

He stacks fire/bolt paper, upgraded serrated weapon for higher damage on beasts, beast blood pellet, runes for higher crit damage, maybe blood gems for higher physical damage.

dw my guy i was the same for the first boss, then i realised how to fight and i beat Father Gasoline first time :P

I killed father on my seccond day after finding him and I didn’t know the music box even existed and I wanted to die because I got him down to 2nd phase each time with my axe long attack. But I finally stocked up on Molotov’s and killed him :D

that rom fight, though didn't go as expected, really shows his skill and patience man.

I just started playing this game on my channel a week ago and initially I was so intimidated by it because...well all the rumours that it's SO HARD but in reality it's all about timing and having the right tools and resources to do it. First boss, Father Gascoigne I found very difficult but the rest that came after him were alright. Well done and keep it up!

This man really just killed cleric beast in 8 seconds...

Tbh this is not what I expected when I searched for *beard guy having fun in bed*

2 years later and this is still a million more times entertaining than any Sekiro video.

I'm new to your channel and already I love it. Your gameplay is entertaining and commentary is 12/10. Plus you do Muay Thai which is my second fav martial art after boxing.

Even when I am the hero of my own dreams at night, i get hit...

I personally do count the Winter Lanterns spikes as damage. He could have taken the key to reach the bloodrock beneath the Brain of mensis, it would still be hard, but not as impossible as the Lanterns

pvp and what he does - couldn't be more diffrent. pve - it is all about memorizing. pvp .... well that would take too much time to explain.

@@guaytiewruea that's exactly what I said. And he has to spend hundreds of hours to memorize everthing - while in this time our focus is on pvp. Best pvp was in Demon's Souls because parry/bs windows where tighter. No 2 or 3 shots - ofc young guns got bored to fight 5 min. with a single player. they want them dead in 5 secs. That's why Dark Souls pvp sessions were way shorter. Bloodborne even more - or should I say dance-competion? But Dark Souls (and Demon's Souls) had soo many little pvp secrets but to master them (Demon's souls) was extremely time consuming (I did over 6000 hrs pvp in Demon's Souls over the years...) Best pvp vid I ever saw was a Dark Souls 1 player who ganked gankers in the forrest. always 1 vs 3 - he won 3 hours in a row with so many diffrent techniques... unfortunately its removed. Here the reason why pyro in Dark Souls 3 got nerfed. (Not in therm of dmg output but cost and slots and stamina drain). The best free aimer (besides me ofc) I 've er saw. That is really impressive!! When you die in the hunters dream

I’ve been killed what feels like a million times it’s crazy to me how good some people are.

Oh, a tip for anyone- To remove a buff on a weapon (bolt, fire, arcane) just switch to your off hand and switch back to your now un-buffed weapon.

Still here in 2022, watching a legend do a legendary run of a legendary game.

You should really try a Nioh 0 hit taken

natthan lee the burning challenge is when you play the game without ever going to the hunters dream. When it comes time to go to the Dream to fight Gherman you get the initial awakening scene from the start of the game only the dream scene is on fire. The play through is basically no leveling no gems or runes and done with the saw spear. You can't die because it will trigger the scene early

Foe someone who has struggled like hell on this game you my friend are a superb player & I salute you. My biggest nightmare is the chalice dungeon version of ROM. 30 attempts so far & I still can't kill the damn thing.
