Be very careful of blood transmitted diseases like Hepatitis and HIV. I wouldn't recommend getting a shave like this. Just some sincere advice.

Mostly people say that Pakistanies are hospitable but I must say that you are very kind and lovely guest in Pakistan

i like the fact that your making super-specific personal experience vids, really shows what it's all about

I was stunned to see that kid being a barber am older than him when I was training to be a hairdresser/barber I didn't have this kind of confidence especially when am working on men I was very nervous ended up shaking. So proud of these boys they will go far in life.

If its his family business then he's probably been working since his teenage, my barber comes from a lineage of barbers and he has been cutting hair since he was 14 which I assume is the case with that guy as well.

Hygiene is almost everywhere in Pakistan. The thing is this saloon was shady and quite a poorly place where no common middle class guy will go to for shaves or cuts, but hats off to luke for still going there, and well those kids did a good job too.

I remember in my early days of traveling that it was always a treat, and a relaxing one at that, to get a shave...this brings back a lot of fond memories! Thanks.

Pls visit modern part of the city as well such as DHA and Bahria. If u decide to come to Bahria let me know can show u around. Most of tourist just visit walled city and surrounding areas whereas Lahore is just so big and city of contrasts.

Hi Luke Just a word of caution. Even though they use a new blade, there is a risk of disease/contamination from the razor stick itself. My recommendation would be to stick to haircuts. Enjoy Karachi!

Such a good video. All the units are shut except that one tiny barbers and despite the surroundings the two young guys cutting the hair have made a big effort to be professional and look stylish.
