Watched the entire thing with a huge smile on my face. I finished the game twice and thought was very good, until seeing this. What a skill. Sometimes i had to rewind to see how you did something. You speedrunners are amazing! :)

Perfect no glitch is the best. Best stealth game I've played so far. N°1 with tenchu wrath of heaven. I just finished the game in new game +, path of the silent without kill, detection and without items beside knifes and it was hell of a fun.

This was incredible. Great work!

ghosting in this game and using very few items as possible unless the situation demands it is so darn fun and rewarding and you really feel like a badass stealthy af ninja.

Your skills are really jaw dropping for me almost all the time. And I learned a lot of tricks from your video which can be skipped some part of the missions without doing. There are also some trick I want to share with you if you don't mind, which I think will help you make your speed-run record a little bit faster. You can skip some of the part of the missions without doing them. Those are what I usually do. - At 1:42, if you climb onto the wall behind the guard and jump over him would be faster than ringing the bell. (just recently found out that one) - You can skip at 10:40 mission and hide above the door of his office which the target is going to open and then sneak in from behind him and get straight to the tracking device without going to the alternative route. - And at 23:50, you can use smoke to cover up the lasers and go straight down to the catacombs. These are the ones all I know about. But I learned more than 20 tricks from you. XD

In a change of course, you could use a smoke bomb to go directly to the gas machine and back, saving at least those cinematic seconds...

You're right, that would save quite a bit of time! I've tested it, it's impossible to make the cycle (interact with gas machine, call elevator and go back) with just 1 smoke bomb. But even using 2, it's faster and the same route for the vents can be used. Thank you!

Never knew the first level could be beaten by avoiding the guards and untying the Master. Always thought you had to kill the 2 guards.

So this could still make sense in canon if he suddenly started killing a lot more after the third mark

4:01 ik its not helpful but a couple years ago back when i did my normal playthroughs and shit i managed to do a weird jump and completely glitch thru to the vent under that room bypassing having to disable the generator, if anyone wants to look for this in a completely dead game speedrunwise then be my guest lol

There's no "way the game is supposed to be played", you play the way you want, it only rewards you for not killing, but that doesn't stop you from massacring the entire level

This run is "kind of new game+". I mean, it's not on the "New game+" difficulty, but we do start with all the equipment (otherwise, I wouldn't be able to use Path of Silence on the early stages).

I can understand that, but I think that the DLC items are kinda OP in this game. I can understand why you're using everything else - path of silence is amazing, and smoke bombs are amazing, but the dusk moths are too powerful, in my opinion

This was played on Steam on March 2015, with the latest version at the time. Also not all stages are played, please read the video description for more info.

Path of silence is the fastest.

Pretty cool, but it could be better.. In the first level, you use a lot of smoke bombs, that's safe but you lose 0.5 to 2 seconds when you aim, the only places it's really useful are 0:35 and 1:54 (since it's nokill run)(There's a bug here, though: you can kill them both with the chandelier and this won't count as a kill in the score, I think only sword kills count as such. Not sure for slippery slope or friendly fire..). Example: 1:10, you could just grapple over the guard (not much of a gain, indeed), but for the next one, there's space to jump over him too. And 1:45, you could jump over the guard and go down in front of him, he won't notice fast enough to be alerted. You could even tackle him, if you manage to go far enough fast enough so he's no longer "active" and can't be alerted. (This may necessitate killing the guards under the chandelier, though, the timing is very tight here) No time to watch the whole run, but to me you're going too "safe", so far.. (If there's a doubt, yes, I used to speedrun the game, but while I was better in the first level, my best was only around 0:46, I always died a couple times in the desert because of over-optimization, I gave up eventually..)
