Hi there, I'm wondering how your thoughts about the Pile Driver are today - after three years of experience. Are you still using it? Is it broken?
Thankfully, I don’t have to use it very often, but it still works great. No problems.
7/11/24 code still works
Thanks for letting me know.
I love when your family does videos together! I watch all of Carla and Emma's tea videos, and all your gun videos. We love your survivalist videos also, and this brand definitely looks like it is worth looking into for us! Thanks!
Thank you! This is definitely the best one we have tried.
DEG. Good video and review of the 4Patriots Meat Medley. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Thanks, you too!
Love my high-end 1911/2011s but went with the Sig Sauer P220 Legion 10mm SAO. It's a beast. Questioned myself however for not buying the Kimber for the trigger and holster compatibility. Glad Kimber did a decent job on your pistol. Thanks for the video. BTW, you can leave the safety engaged while racking the slide on the Sig, unlike the Kimber.
I've had problems with S&B 10mm myself before. I no longer buy it.
@@curtisoverstreet7471 I still use it in other calibers, but I will not buy anymore 10mm.

Awesome Firearms great video too God bless from Kentucky
Thanks for watching in Kentucky!
DEG. Good video. Nice guns and good shooting. Looks like they will both do the job. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Thanks for watching!
So the assist feature doesn't work?
The power assist works, but you have to overcome the initial resistance before the spring finishes opening the blade. The tool was also brand new so it was a little stiffer getting the blades open.
Looks like shooter McGavin off Happy Gilmore. Nice review.
Thanks for watching!
You lost all credibility the second I saw the empty firearm in your holster.
I had probably been teaching a CWP class before I filmed this video. I don’t carry a loaded firearm in class while I teach.
Will a Springfield loaded with duel sided ambidextrous safety fit in this holster?
The Galco website lists the gun models that will work with the Miami Classic.
@@DoubleEagleGunworks it say’s Springfield full size 1911, but nothing about duel ambidextrous safety
@@johnmazzoni487The leather retention strap should stretch enough to accommodate the ambidextrous safety. If you want to be sure before you buy one, I would suggest emailing or calling Galco customer service.
Good luck finding any of Henry's rifles, and don't count on customer service Haha they'll waste your time....trust me it's ridiculous.
sorry you had bad experience. Mine is just the opposite. The extractor broke on my Big Boy and they fixed it without an issue and very timely.
@@DoubleEagleGunworks I was trying to find one whole rifle and Henry's staff over several calls guaranteed me that five different sellers had the gun I was looking for and it was bs and a waste of my time, I guess I could buy the gun in parts from them and assemble it myself if I were willing, but I'm not and they will never see another cent from me.
@@larrylindenmeyer4390sorry to hear that. Good luck finding the rifle you want.

I just looked up the serial number on mine, 1941!

I just got a new P229 and for the life of me can't figure out the proper hold. I know it is supposed to be a combat hold but it's not working for me. Haha
Have you tried using a rest to minimize any movement? If not, try a rest and use different holds to see which one works best.
@@DoubleEagleGunworks No. Will need to buy a bag and try it. Thanks!
@@dirtmcgirt7125Good luck!
I bought the DA/SA version months ago and added the DP Pro optic. It's a great gun, but if you reload and plan on saving your brass, better bring a friend with a minnow net. Position your brass catcher about 15 ft back behind you and 20 ft to your right!
I have considered a net on the right side of the shooting bench for that very reason. Every 10mm I have throws the brass like that.
What we need are good shoulder holsters for full size revolvers. A hundred and fifty years ago they had the skeleton lightning holsters yet today we have almost zero options.
They are still available if you go with one of the better brands like Galco.
For the price of most aftermarket tritium sights SIG will check out any older P226, replace any pins or springs that need it AND install brand new SIG tritium sights...
Thanks for the info.
Thanks Sugar! I actually hadn't used a revolver since my teens. I prefer the 44 Aust. Glock. I followed your basics and feel safer. 😊
Glad I could help!
'A million ways to die in the west' comes to mind
😂
intresting, just saw another video about the sig. seems like it bounced way more with optics and lights than here.
That is interesting. The P220 is a heavy gun to start with. You would think it would be less bounce with the added weight of a light.
@@DoubleEagleGunworks i think 10mm gives some energy into the slide to begin with. then once mass is moving, it keeps moving. or it's a matter of the shooter's grip, though i suspect it's the optics causing it. but still one of the nicest firearms ever made.
@@tomlobos2871the grip definitely makes a difference.
Can’t wait to pick mine up in two weeks 😁

Wish they had a strobe feature

Ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Conway Twitty.
😂😂 Never had that comparison before.
Already knew the winner before it was shown. It should be common knowledge now
.357 Sig is a great round, but it never caught on like it should have.
@@DoubleEagleGunworks It caught on to a lot of people and is still going strong. Its been around since 94 and it will continue on. It has always had a ebb and flow of popularity since then
@@SmokinSigsIt is still around, but the company that developed it, Sig. no longer makes any guns in that caliber.
@@DoubleEagleGunworks Yep, only Glock right now that I know of is making them. Only Gen 4 as well so far because they haven't released the gen5 lineup and might not. We shall see.
@@SmokinSigsGlock is the only one I know of as well.
How's it going after about a year now with this shoulder holster setup?
I carry two. Main pistol, ankle back up, and 70 rounds
👀👌🤣. Yes, sir. 🇺🇸💪
Thanks.
Yes, sir. Ankle holster backup is very nice. I run the alien gear model with my ruger lcp max. Very good to have a back up
Always good to have a back up.
Sweet! Jacket. Question for you. How's the shoulder holster harness you feel wearing all day. Any noticeable issues? I'm still in my training fasz on the shoulder holster carrying. I mostly appendix carry. I really enjoyed the shoulder holster harness. The 1st I put one on 2 months ago. It's really comfortable. Just wanted to know some of your tips and tricks when carrying with a shoulder holster harness.
My preferred method of carry is IWB at about the 4 o’clock position. The biggest issues I have had when I use the shoulder holster is getting the gun and spare magazines high enough so they don’t hit the other things on my belt like my phone or flashlight.
@DoubleEagleGunworks Good morning, everyone at dubble eagle gunworks. Happy taco Tuesday to everyone there. Buy 2 get 1 free somewhere. Ok. Thank for the information on that.

Well done - and professionally produced!
Thanks for the kind words!
Is there a way to attach a security cable to the safe?
The safe has holes in the bottom where you can mount it to something with screws, but it doesn’t have a slot for a security cable.
I just bought one from Amazon. #97436 shows it has a security cable. It does NOT have a security cable nor a place to attach one. That was a major selling point for me. 😕
For SIG "P" Series pistols: Check the numbers on the sights = 6 or 8 Check the SIG website to determine if and what number to change to to make adjustments in point of impact
Thanks for the info.
They have it in 360 Buckhammer now. 🎉🎈
I haven’t had a chance to try that caliber.
Accu trigger you can adjust the weight of the trigger pull with it make it a hair trigger if wanted
The trigger pull is not bad from the factory, but you are correct that it can be adjusted lighter.
@@DoubleEagleGunworks remember a buddy of mine had his adjusted so light that if you bumped the bolt to hard while locking it into place the rocket would fire needles to say he fixed that
@@Backyardredneck92yeah. That would be a little too light of a trigger pull!
Question; i would love to carry with a shoulder holster, they simply blow other holsters out of the park in terms of comfort, but i live in AZ where, during the summer, 90 is considered cold. Anything for concealing a shoulder holster here or should i just deal with something less comfortable like AIWB?
The only thing I can think of would be a tee shirt with an unbuttoned button up shirt over it. But that would only work in a casual dress situation.
@@DoubleEagleGunworks believe it or not this somehow never crossed my mind gonna have to try this sometime

What kind of plastic film do you use to darken the camera lens? Maybe you can post a link. Great detailed video.
The shades are part of the Laser Academy kit. Not sure if they are available separately.
@@DoubleEagleGunworks Thank you
@@Technical_Duty589You’re welcome!
Great holster. I use it with my 43x left hand for carry from behind. It is absolutely amazing. I used their method of breaking in the leather by putting my gun clear and empty into a bag and then into a holster, moving it around, and leaving it 24 hours.
Break in is pretty easy with this holster.
No, doesn’t seem very accessible.
I would not recommend it as a primary location for concealed carry, but it could be useful as a backup.
Not if youre young and flexible
@@dwill5724 being young and flexible would be helpful with an ankle holster.
Isn't it bad to dry fire this, and if so, how bad is it?
You can dry fire an older rimfire like this one occasionally, but don’t do it continuously. Repeatedly dry firing the gun could cause the tip of the firing pin to break off.
Field strip. Oil the heck out of it. My exact same gun had a problem with the trigger not resetting oil and 800 break in rounds minimum. Thats any weapon.
Guns do need a break in period, but the problems I was having with this gun were more ammo related.
Sweet !!!! I'm looking to grab one of those for my AR...been checking out reviews videos ever since I found em!
You will not be disappointed.
