Karate-Kata 空手

Karate-Kata 空手

According to an old saying, one kata would be practiced for three years before the next would be learned. The last kata is said to take at least ten years to master. Altogether, that's 61 years to master all kata! Kata are not to be changed. There are infinite bunkai (applications) but only one kata.

    One of the most important thing is rooting and inside hara-activation. Turning hips is biomechanical movement, only. It is shame, that JKA Shotokan karate can not develop. There is possibility to do stronger karate. In the very beginning you soul understand, what you are doing.

    This is the first time I saw the Goju-Ryu version. I've always seen the Isshyn Ryu version. Are the deeper stances a personal touch or is that a Goju ryu thing?

  • @n0xure
    @n0xureАй бұрын

    In my school we're always told to go deep in Shiko Dachi because the practical application of that stance often used in takedowns; so the deeper the stance the more force you apply in the throw. Zenkutsu Dachi on the other hand is more understood as a horizontal push - so that one is typically less deep than Shotokan.

    Un horror de kata. Sus desplazamientos en los 3 primeros shiko dachis son pésimos, la cadera sube y baja de nivel. Luego en los 2 shiko dachi en retroceso permite que sus pies se toquen. Craso error

    If you want to do the brutal stuff, you really need to do the real honjo undo. Not the fake stuff at the end, but makuwari with finger tips, one knuckle push-ups, sand box and lots of grip and forearm conditioning.

    @@ch0wned especially in course sand, no cheating like Bruce Lee did on his finger pads but on the tips. Harden up the bones and tendon through compressive over-pressure. The secret sauce is deer musk. Super overload of testosterone into the local tissues for repair and growth. Musk is expensive so I use freeze dried bovine testi and caffeine soaked in Alcohol.

    寄り添わせるのでは意味がない、 寄り添ってしまうものではない、と。 使い方を教えるような甘い人ではなかったのではないか。 現れたパターンの一つだったんでしょうね。 護身術的な使い方として残っている印象です。 本部朝基は空手に未知の大きな謎を残しただけでも凄い功績だと思います。 本気で探求した武人の歴史をどう受け止めるか、 武術世界とは元々難問を突き付ける世界なんだなー、と。 それもこっそりと。
