This KZread Channel was started by Jeff Burns who wrote Foggy Point Light & Ripples: Return to Foggy Point Light. These 2 books are part of a trilogy about a fictional lighthouse on an island just off the North Carolina coast that is surrounded in mystery & where the past is about to catch up with the future. Sadly Jeff passed away in January of 2022. He is sorely missed by family & friends. Jeff had started writing the 3rd volume in the FPL series which remains unfinished at the present time. The first two volumes are available in paperback, iBook, Nook & Kindle versions. Chapter 1 from each volume including the 3rd volume Project Vortex is available for a free download on the Foggy Point Light website. Both Jeff's wife & son (KZreadr @TJElevatorfan) are continuing to upload videos to this channel to honor Jeff's memory. The videos are filmed by Jeff or is something he had an interest in. To learn more about Jeff & FPL, please visit the FPL website. Thank you for watching!

Perfect music for this trip ! This area has changed so much since I was a child !
Nice to see some vintage Christy photos.
Great memories of visiting the area plus a great show.
Wow, amen ❤
Is it still open
Yes, the Waltons Mountain Museum located in Schuyler is still open. The Dew Drop Inn located in Scottsdale is no longer there. There are several things that have been added since the Grand Opening in 1992 including a B&B that is a close replica of the TV house. You might want to check out this playlist on TJ's Channel of the highlights through out the years kzread.info/head/PLXC0svDylGdSYXjDIGQZnDvAwfcS5_7Tp Thanks for watching!

Skill at its best. Still risky being that close to building and your vehicles. Today's tree removal ops use Crain's
He made it look easy! I've felled a few trees, I know the skill this takes. Good job!
I’m no pro but I feel the back cut needs to be higher

That’s a 80 year old oak, hope there was a pretty good reason for cutting it.😮
Big limbs were falling off and hitting the roof of the house - one made a hole in the roof.
Nice job..it was leaning slightly in the proper direction, plus there was a limb from the tree to the right, across its' path, if it had tried to go toward the house..
Great job , bet you can't do that with a battery saw😂😂😂😂
Perfect!!😂
Looks like that chain needs a file
Turn it over make a table out of it
So nice to see a decent notch and hinge for exceptional directional control when falling!
I'm your fan. Great video.
What happened to the men who bought it and made changes to it.
This property has been sold several times throughout the years once by original owner Barbara Mandrell in 2002 (which those new owners opened it as a tourist landmark with tours of the mansion, a concert and wedding venue plus a hotel on the property at White Creek.) The property was sold again in 2019 but those new owners didn't do what they had planned with the property as the pandemic hit. The property was auctioned off in various parcels (land and buildings wise) in 2022 and I believe 5 different people now own the various sections separately. I don't think any of the new owners have announced what they plan to do with their piece of the property.
@@foggypointlight Thanx for the info. From another video the home and property look worn down and unkept. Almost like it's been abandoned for a while.
I think it has been since the pandemic.
Nice view of the beach where I collect shells ! I will be thinking about this video when I visit Tybee this November.
Good to see @BigRigTravels Road Crew. Hope you are doing well @allthingsharbor :) Might want to check out the lighthouse play list on this channel. It has another video of Tybee Island Lighthouse. Thanks for watching.
He is good!!
