Getting 80% of rated wattage in real-life conditions is pretty good. 50-60% is normal in my experience. Those 'cracks' are called snail trails. Not sure what causes them, thermal stress maybe? But I've seen them develop in less that a week on brand new panels. I don't have any reason to believe they cause too much power loss. At least I haven't noticed on my systems.

I was thinking maybe from the stress of extreme weather conditions. I'm in northern Wisconsin, where it can get down to -20f. 🤷

@@AutarkyHomesteadYeah thermal stress makes sense. I live in north-central mn, so even if the air temp is say -20, the surface of the panels on a sunny winter day can be 80-90 degrees. However, in he summer those babies can get up to 130+ degrees in full sun.
