Schmicheal, Neville, Ferdinand, Stam, Irwin, C.Ronaldo, Keane,Scholes,Giggs, Van Nistlerooy, Cantona. I know Rooney was all time scorer but if Ruud had played from a young age till Rooney age he would probs have been prem top scorer and I think Eric would partner Ruud better being the perfect number 10. Stam over Vidic because of the impact he had on the team when he played. Three seasons one of them being a treble season and the fact fergie had to spend £30 million to replace him as he was missed that much just edges it over Vidic for me like.

good XI. i . Denis Irwin could use both feet just as good, and his O.G. position was rightback, even tho he played mostly on LB, as he was just as good there. I also would consider Beckham at rightback in the modern game. imagine Beckham, a lot like Trent Alexander-Arnold. not the fatest, but great technique and probably the best crosser of all time + hard work rate up and down. I might actually go with this XI Schmeichel Ferdinand Stam Beckham Irwin Keane Scholes Ronaldo Cantona Giggs Van Nistelrooy id also highly consider: Van Der Sarr, Robson, Vidic, Evra, Carrick, Neville, Cole, Rooney instead of Cantona etc. if this was a real team, id prolly pick rooney instead of Van Nistelrooy too, as Rooney is a better passer of the ball and can play cantona, giggs, ronaldo, scholes etc into better positions. Stam and Ferdinand for me are easy. they are like Van Dijk for liverpool. they have everything. Rio and Stam are both strong, fast, tall, smart, composure on the ball, can pass the ball. imagine having them in our backline today, playing out from the back. omfg. could also play with 3 in central mid. with either carrick behind as 6 or keane. and put scholes/robson/beckham there in front.
