Just a simple multicultural family living in Kathmandu! ❤️
We are Krishna & Maya, an international couple living in Kathmandu (Nepal) with our son Erik. Krishna is Nepali & I am Polish and Tunisian (although I grew up in France and hold a French passport). My mum is Catholic Christian, my father Muslim and Krishna Hindu.
Here, you can expect videos about our mixed family life, food and travels in Nepal and abroad, but also inspiring local stories from many different cultures and people from around the world.
Through this channel, we want to encourage you to go and interact with people outside of your own culture. Meet people who don't look like you, who don't think like you, who don't have the same beliefs as you... Life is good when we experience new things.
Much love,
Krishna, Erik & Maya

I don't understand about the ingo who based on church of findland working in Nepal,is that for conversions or what
@ParisMeetsKathmandu I don't think Muslims existed in Nepal 1000 years ago but its around 504 to 550 years ago. According to the Vamshavalis, Kashmiri Muslims arrived in Kathmandu during the reign of King Rama Malla (1484-1520 AD). Until then, there was no Muslim presence in Nepal. I think they create their own stories. Forget Nepal Even India :The Mughal dynasty was founded in 1526 when Babur, a Central Asian Muslim prince, followed the example of his ancestor Timur (d. 1405) and invaded the land he knew as Hindustan (the Indian subcontinent). India around: Between 498 to 619 years ago After that converted kashmiri muslim came to Nepal. Then their journey started in Nepal till now.... Yes, we respect every religions because we are sanatani🚩 Hamro Pyaaro Nepal🇳🇵Jai Nepal🇳🇵

Some of you might be surprised to see this kind of video popping on our channel, but you must know something about me (Maya), I went to law school and I was pretty good in fact. And if I wasn’t living here in Nepal, I would have most probably been a police officer in my country. So we just wanted to know more about the police officers working here in Nepal, and we had the amazing opportunity to meet with the Superintendent of Police at the Nepal Anti Human Trafficking Bureau in Kathmandu who agreed to be our guest in this special video. As the video is in Nepali language (with English subtitles), Krishna is the one asking the questions.
Its funny, but initially I thought no. 1 and no. 10 for the same purpose with gender equality 😁😁
