I’m thinking of using soy wax instead of the paraffin wax. Eww that stuff stinks and paraffin wax is carcinogenic why do they think it’s safe to put that on your skin for waxing. After recently finding out what paraffin is I’m floored it’s even in many of are candles I don’t wanna be breathing carcinogenic air.

This is a great video. I've used mould master wax and it works great for wood wick container candles but I wouldn't trust pillar wax like that. Hope your was able to find a better wax for your candles 😊

Important tip 🤦🏻♀️ in order to be more efficient on time-work, use a microwave and set it for 3 min., if it’s not completely melted set it again for 1:30 more! Hugs and I hope this works for you as well.

Thank you for taking the time to give us this information. I am new to this. My dilemma is that I have the original NGI Ecosoya PB soy wax that I am going to use in glass containers that are only 2.25 inches in diameter with a straight edge. I have been testing and so far the wax is not pulling away from the container/glass. My problem is finding the correct wick for full melt pool without getting to hot. I am using what I have that only says, "primed 8oz", and I have no idea what that means. From what I have read, I am thinking I should try a size 12-14? Also is there a definitive or correct way to soften the wax a wee bit. I tried both refined and unrefined coconut oil, but am not there yet, and it seemed more coconut oil did not allow a wider melt pool.

Paraffin wax is not chemically made, its just refined from crude oil. Crude oil is perfectly natural material straight from the ground

I did this. But i got some rough surface. Is there any oil to apply in the mould? Pls tel me..
This sounds so stupid but I have this mould and I can’t understand where the top of the wick goes, if it’s inside the mould surely the wax with harden with the wick inside it??

Great video! I def agree and I am finding that the unless you are not using fragrance oil or color there will be issues with sticking and frosting with soy wax. And you esp. hit it on the head when you talked about all the properties in the wax have different heating points!

I have a doll faced mold.. And i always get thin cracks in it... I let the wax cool and then pour it... I take it out within 1,2 hours... I even creased my mold with oil (that actually helped with the flakiness). But its still very dry with visible cracks... What am i doing wrongggg😵
