    The man's a legend. Anyone who doesn't love Richard Acolade must be normal and that's not a nice place to be.

    Watching this for the first time I had absolutely no clue as to what the news story was, but then watching it back when you know the answer, and it actually makes sense, makes this absolutely hilarious

    This right here is the most British conversation ever recorded. All they needed to do was talk about the weather and this would be 10/10.

    Noel's reaction at 0:25 strikes as incredibly funny. Weirdly, reminds me of Eddie Izzard from his stand-up days.

    People are all going on about how Richard Ayoade is a genius, but the thing is, I don't think he meant for this to be a joke. He says in a talk show that he really dislikes talk shows because the questions aren't genuinely interested in how the person is doing, and they're only about the celebrity. He's deeply inclined toward natural conversation, so when he's asked how he's doing he doesn't come back with an automatic "fine," and then when they seem to be waiting for something more, he just starts talking about what's going on in his life. That's why his first response is "I made the mistake of genuinely answering your question." Really, there's nothing unusual about this conversation; it's perfectly normal. It's only funny because you're not supposed to have normal conversations on a game show.

    So because he’s gay it’s acceptable for him to touch up the presenter and panel ?

  • @TheBattProductions

    I think it was acceptable because Jimmy Carr or Alan Carr didn't find it offensive. They had a laugh about it, it seems.

    This feels like one of the few times Jimmy was genuinely sort of taken off guard and lost control of the situation. I know a lot of the show is loosely scripted and the like, but I almost feel like maybe he was left out of the loop on this one or something.

    How is it acceptable for Louie Spence to grope people just because he's gay?

  • @TheBattProductions
    @TheBattProductions2 жыл бұрын

    It's not because he's gay, I'd say. That part is irrelevant. Now, Louie shouldn't have done it I'd say - but it appears Jimmy and Alan didn't find it a threat but rather all a comedy bit (which it seems it was intended to be).

    1:40 Alan was enjoying it. Michael was trying to do everything he could to restrict it (but sadly failed in the end😂) when that came on TV and he sat down with his wife kitty to watch it. He must have coincidentally needed to go to that bathroom for a bit and came back when it was over 😂
