I need to get some scrimp balls soon. Taiwan hot pos are the best. Cancer meat
1 dollars worth of noodles and 50 cents worth of seasoning for 70$
To be fair, Dynasty Seafood Restaurant is one of the more expensive dim sum locations. There are many other places that have the same quality, if not higher, at a more affordable price point. Same with the Dollar Shop; there are places where you can get all you can eat hot pot for under $35 Canadian.
Black olives are traditional but omg the pepperoni. It's supposed to be chorizo. Absolutely shameful if they're trying to pass this off as authentic macanese food.
It seemed way out of place 😅 deeefinitely would have liked to have chorizo with it!
Open till 2am?! Authentic late night meals are so clutch. Best way to battle yeet hay is to get that herbal tea 😂
They need to sell pang da hai! 😂
@@PeterLisaKim 🤣
Thanks for this video! We are staying at a resort right next to Legoland and keep passing the signs for strawberry picking. I didn’t know what to expect so your video helped me and we will probably be going today!
We hope you had a great time!! Thanks so much for watching!
Clips city chip city
Coming in 2025! 🤞🏼
hey you guys, Is this next to chongqing special noodle?
Yep it is!
I went there 2 weeks ago. I liked the curry beef
It would be tough to find a more delicious item there!
Really enjoying your videos in 626!
Thanks so much!! 🙏🏻
I'm addicted to the soy scallion flavor. I can't eat the cheap stuff anymore, I don't like the texture and it's unhealthy. These let me get my noodle fix without the guilt 🍜 Oh and why do Italians love pasta so much?
These definitely have a better texture and feels like restaurant quality! You have fancy taste 😉 We love pasta too!! Because carbs! lol 😂
Oooh, I want to visit this place when I’m home
Yeeeee let’s gooooo
OH BABY PETER ITS GERARD PMG JIGGLYPUFF SLAP MY FACE WAIT THAT'S PHILIP YOU GUYS ARE GAY MAYBE ME HEE HEE GOT DAMN
Hi Peter and Lisa, this is Nelson. I have another restaurant for you. I don't know if you've been here before. The restaurant it's called lady's yan. On 137 west Valley Blvd. San Gabriel. There you will see a sign that used to be a restaurant called Ho kee cart. We ate there on June 1 and had a good experience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating the place was clean I think you both will enjoy it if you've not been there yet. Anyway keep up the vlogs. Will be watching.
Oh no! Ho Kee Cart Noodle is gone?! 😞 But Lady Yan looks delicious! Thanks for the recommendation!
Thank you!
whoa thats like mid-late 2000s prices! But how about that ex-large roasted pig? Lol
Those are the best! If we ever host a giant party, we know where we're going 😂
I think you should do more videos like this! I tried the Guilin Noodle place after seeing that video and loved it. There are so many under-the-radar restaurants that don't get love on Yelp due to language barrier, service or ambiance, but are actually really tasty in reality.
That's awesome! We really do love those Guilin Noodles 😆 The main reason why we haven't is that it's a lot harder to find less than 3.5 star rated places through search 😂 But we're definitely going to do more.
I do not know if you like Menudo. But Chanos in San Gabriel makes a tasty Menudo on the weekends. I recommend.
Ohhh, definitely gonna go try that very soon. We love menudo!
@@PeterLisaKim I don't want to hype it up. But it may be my favorite. Has a very different flavor than what I'm used to but I think it may he due to the Oaxacan influence.
Love this stuff. So fun though, how this is on the internet and none of these are available in Europe, except the Momofuku one...
Can't believe i drive by this place every Friday and not see it. Def gonna try out their lunch specials
That's how small that spot is, it's so easy to pass by without noticing 😆
How did I miss this episode. Peter directed me here. That bun stew looks so delicious. Everything does.
Seriously one of the most amazing spots 😆
I’ve never seen Peter without his hat on
We have a few videos where it happened 😆
It's awesome to see.
Yeah that place is really good. We ate there about 2 months ago in we were impressed. Good place to eat but don't eat in the early morning weekend hard to find seeds. Enjoying your blog keep it up.
Definitely tough during busy times since it's such a small spot!
Vancouver and Richmond dim sum really has changed. There used to be carts wheeled through the restaurant and you could pick what you wanted. In the late 80’s early 90’s dim sum was $0.99 per dish. As you know, the price only got steeper and cart service disappeared.
I saw some of my favs here. Excellent Video! Underrated Channel!
Very much appreciated, thanks!! 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I actually like the Sheng jian bao at Zui Xiang Yuan on Valley better. The dough is fluffy and soft while the crust is crispy. It's elite in my opinion.
We've been there but never ordered the sheng jian bao! Guess we'll be paying a visit soon, thanks! 😆
Seriously, only FOOLS would buy this crap. The ingredients are so freaking cheap and it's a crime to charge what they charge. This guy's business is even trying to trademark "Chili Crunch" to drive everyone else out of business. It's a nasty practice trying to trademark "soy sauce" or "sugar". If you want to be ripped off and support a nasty bully as well, then go buy this garbage
Is this off Garfield and Valley next to the shell?
Yup! Right next to the Happy Lemon!
Breakfast in Asia is seriously undefeated and incredibly poorly represented in the states. We gotta open up a shop that only sells Asian breakfasts 😁😋
1000%! There's gotta be enough interest for a breakfast spot like that 😆
Enjoy your videos. Thx.
We appreciate it so much! Thanks for watching/supporting a couple of small-time creators 😀
I wouldn’t call a font racist though. Racism is a belief; a belief of inherent superiority based on race. Plus who would care if a Chinese company sold mustard with a Germanic font on it?; probably no one.
Or you can tell Alice Zhang the font on the sign of her restaurant “Beijing House” is racist.😂
My top 5 would be charsiew sou (my local place does them in triangles), turnip cake, stuffed eggplant, fried taro puffs, and stuffed jalapeno!
Those are all winners 😃👍🏼
My bro in law bought Flying Goose Sriracha. I bought Dynasty Sriracha.
Next I’ll try Sriraja Panich.
Collagen is protein, not fat.
Yaohan food fare is NOT good and fairly pricey compared to Richmond Pub Market, T & T or Pricesmart. That said, I do live in Richmond and indeed the food is good but the prices are bad! Very bad as in expensive!
I lived near all the Dim Sum places you tried and have not tried any of them except the Lunasia and NBC. Surprised you both didn't show the 888 or Capital Seafood across from the Hilton in Del Mar. I thought it was common to get the tripe with the pork blood. Or the Fried meat bun.
Premium dumpings.
i like your top 5, but #6 should be the Beef Tripe dim sum!
Maybe there should be an essential 7 🤪 you forgot the sticky rice and the turnip cake 😚
should review Bloom VIP restaurant for nice dim sum too
Thanks for the suggestion!! Will give it a try next!
I am just wondering if you could go to Lee's Tofu in Monterey Park, CA. It is my family's restaurant and they don't get that many customers. So it would make me feel so happy if you went and reviewed their food. (Btw its a korean tofu house)
I've been looking for a chili crunch oil that is sweet, mild, crunchy af with a good hit of garlic. The bowlcut one sounds good, as does the first though idk about it being so shrimp forward xD. Thanks for this video!
Thanks for watching! Bowlcut miiiight fit what you're looking for but it's hard for us to pinpoint one that really does. We talked about Kari Kari and Hot Crispy Oil in our previous video, which has lots of garlic. Or possibly Oomame (has sweet crystalized ginger) 😃 kzread.info/dash/bejne/iXWg3LaNp8e_fpM.htmlsi=PPZzQPy0z1Scmc1J
@@PeterLisaKim thanks for the response! I'll check that video out!
This is still at least $20 cheaper than the conventional dim sum for two.
$60 soup. Prices are reasonable…..
I appreciate that you guys did this video for small business owners. Great job! The audio on the video is slightly disorienting. It's odd to hear the person on the left coming out of my right ear. Either mix it together or swap the channels. I still love the content, but it was super distracting.
Thanks for watching! We'll make sure the audio issues don't occur again 👍🏼
I still don’t understand what the problem is? The dish has been around hundreds of years, as stated, and many brands sell it. He wasn’t trying to stop that OBVIOUSLY. He was just trying to snag the term ‘chili crunch’ as a snappy, English trademark for branding, which is what EVERYONE does, big businesses and small businesses alike. Everyone is acting like he was trying to trademark all of China. No, Lao Gan Ma isn’t going anywhere. Everyone can calm down. Stop villainizing the guy. There are bigger problems in the world.
Found the Chang burner account 😂 just kidding. We understand all that, and while we can't deny throwing some shade, our main stance is that we wanted to support the friends we've made in this chili oil brand space.
i love this i love seeing all the brands
We love seeing them too, Thanks! 🙏🏻
Should try ChoCho hotpot - it’s Dollarshop’s sister restaurant that offers all you can eat. Resos are a must and are booked up fast
Wow shocked for AYCE dim sum in California! Oh got those cravings.
I want one
