How exactly are darkrai, cresselia, jirachi, deoxys, and eternatus connected to dialga? A very unconvincing "explanation" was given for rayquaza. Because it flys through the sky and the sky is connected to space which means the two are definitely related... OK. What about the other five?

Rayquaza doesn't have anything to do with palkia or space. It represents the atmosphere. It's called the sky high pokemon, not the space pokemon.

In the games it is explicitly stated that Kyurem and the original dragon came to earth from a fallen meteorite, which is way Kyurem is found in the Giant Chasm. This should place them with the other space Pokémon. Lol Gamefreak really enjoys the space dragon motif.

It has gotten convoluted at best. It should have stopped at Emerald. They could have added new tasks to complete with a rerelease every five or so years. Based on this video Pokemon was falling off, the creators read the Bible and said, “let’s make the Pokemon lore into something like a religion.”

1. Unova - Love the story and the geography of this region, the cities are so memorable and I think Univa is not as linear as many people think. The seasons then added even more to Unova.This is my first region so I may be biased though, but still is my opinion, so I don’t care. 2. Sinnoh - Pretty much the same reasons as Unova, but the lore and plot of Unova are a little bit better in my opinion. 3. Johto - I love how mysterious and tradionalist this region is. When I think about the “traditional Pokémon experience” I think about Johto. 4. Kalos - I didn’t like X and Y, but the region is so beautiful, lots of memorable places and Lumiose City is probably the best Pokémon city ever in my opinion. XY osts for the locations are so damn good. 5. Alola - As I said before I am not a lover of the ocean in real life, so this is a completely personal ranking, but the lore is much better than Hoenn and I think geography too, even though is more linear. 6. Hoenn - “7.8 too much water”, I’m not a lover of the ocean in real life but I have to admit that Hoenn is probably the best regions to explore in all of the Pokémon franchise, but the water routes are pain in the ass. 7. Galar - It’s basically a Corridor, but I liked the design of the cities and the DLC areas, that I personally consider as part of the Galar region, but that’s it. 8. Paldea - Empty. Exploring Paldea is boring. Some cities design are good and also the Area Zero is, but it’s not enough to get the 7th position. 9. Kanto - Empty, boring to explore, linear, the cities designs are trash and completely forgettable, there is literally nothing good about Kanto. But it makes sense, it was the first one.

My 2 cents. Krookodile wins the Bronze Medal of terrifying. It kills its victims in an even more brutal manner than Palossand. It chomps on its victim and performs the death roll to tear its victim apart. While Palossand is terrifying for having a body count, Krookodile basically tortures its prey to death. On top of that, it is very violent and can sense its victims from 30 miles away. This easily nails it the Bronze Medal of horrifying. Malamar wins the Silver Medal of horrifying. It has THE STRONGEST hypnotic powers of ANY Pokémon and uses it to enslave others or straight up kill them. Malamar's hypnosis is responsible for some of the worst life-changing events in history and an anime Malamar has even gone as far as try to distort the world to suit its needs. Guzzlord wins the Gold Medal of horrifying. It is a machine of mass destruction in layman's terms. It has an insatiable hunger and has even devoured entire mountains and buildings, leaving no droppings behind. Basically a black hole minus Hawking radiation. One look at Guzzlord and the best thing one MUST do is to flee as it is overwhelmingly bulky to boot.
