Hi, I'm JimHow. I dig dirt and all the toys used for digging dirt.
I am a heavy equipment operator here on Canada's Atlantic Coast, Nova Scotia. I operate my own Land Shaping Business in the warmer months and I work for the municipality plowing snow in the winter season.
This channel is a great opportunity to share my passions of operating heavy equipment and photography/film making. I hope you enjoy the channel and drop a comment! I really enjoy hearing back from viewers.
Thank you for tuning in!

I have been in the fiel drainage business in central Mo. have seen some 2” 3” and 4” clay tile but none with a flat bottom. Have seen some 4” belled in 3’section some 2”and some 4” hexagonal field tile. In this part of Missouri.
Yeah, this was the first time I saw clay pipe like this. It was on a old farm property next to mine here in Nova Scotia, Canada
Rewatched! Soik conditioners make a great impact. Love it, freat comtenr!

Thank you so much 👍
Nice job. That didn’t take long at all😉
Crazy how some of those trucks make a D11 look small.
Love these turtles. Looks like she got 9 lives by the look of her shell. Good girl. Awesome to see more than 1.
Thinking about buying one to blow under pine needles as fire prevention. It would be for an MT100. Do you think it’s the right tool for that job?
Love the soill conditioner, grounds looking amazing.
Thank you! Cheers!
Great little video Howie. I’d love to have a power rake for my tractor but they are costly.
Yeah, not cheap but worth the money.
Is that rig able to strip the grass of of an older lawn ?
Yeah but it's best to cut the grass fairly low before power raking so it does a nicer job.
Looks awesome! I'm so glad I got that attachment. Worth it for sure.
Definitely! I wish I bought this attachment back in 08 when I first bought my skid steer.
Great job once again! Thanks for another terrific video!
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
Nice work! I enjoy watching machine operators who know how to operate machines operate machines. 🤔🍺
Glad you enjoyed it

Engine?
Need a ripper
Merci d'avoir partagé ton expérience, il a l'air tellement plus stable que celui à roue qu'on oublierait presque qu'il peut se retourner 😊
Thanks for watching!
🙏🙌👏🇻🇪💰😭
Great video! Going to try this
Did it work?
What’s the difference between T190 with 4 idler rollers and 3 idler rollers?
I LOVE THIS,FOR MY YARD,DO THEY HAVE PAYMENT PLANS.
Nothing worse than changing all those damn teeth everyone works smooth together skid steer guy was good so was the guy on the baby milling machine
Rewatched! Soil conditioner is the best!
The problem there is your wasting good soil, that has balled up with rolling down the screen. This is to much waste. Back to the drawing board. 75% of the waste pile is good balled topsoil.
Without your excavator with the thumb, that looks like it would have been an almost impossible job. We had an icestorm in 2008 that just destroyed a small pine grove behind my home. Couldn't walk through it. Started on the outskirts and just kept cutting and sorting. I burned brush, limbs, shattered wood for a week in the Spring. Salvaged some, but everything was split inside from the weight they bore before shattering. It's enjoyable watching your skill.
Great video! If you don't mind me asking, what blades are you running on the front and the wing? Thanks!
C'est sûr qu'utiliser le ripper quand le D11R grimpe une côte, ça va pas le faire car il a 113 tonnes supplémentaires à tirer.
Is rocktop a new type of tree? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 looks like you boys had fun anyways that’s always good. Thanks for the look at the storm damage.
Awesome work, Bud.
Excellent video, thanks for posting it .
Someone has worked a felling crew for a couple years. it looks like the hurricane also did a good job of thinning down that stand. It looks like it needed it and There are years worth of stovewood seasoning now.
That is a mess that is going to take years. At least you have things trimmed back to where you have some access. Too bad you didn't have a machine that could handle a full size logging head, it would have gone a lot faster I expect.
Sure is a lot of work! Great job! Stay safe and stay healthy!
Big help with your excavator being there Jim , and another excellent video..
Rewatched! Love the channel ans content!

Back in the late 1940’s/50’s. Farmers plowed the roads. In Michigan snow came down 2-6/inches per hour. I walked 2 miles to highschool. They gave us all we could eat plus take home to families. I also could do 4 hrs of football practice or basketball. The walk home was the toughest. Snow was deeper and in darkness. Family loved highschool cooks sending good food home to us. Small farm families appreciated their care for poorer rural farms. I walked sometimes fore two weeks and brought meals to my family. Cooks would say what do you need and how many members. Wrapped it up pack it in my back pack and home I went. I think my mom was a little jealous of the school cooks but she was also relieved!
I have satellite drive on my HD AlTerrain pickup. 90 day contract’ drove Interstate 96 in white out pushing snow up to hood. Very strange experience driving by video not by life visio😅’
In Michigan our drivers can drive by Satellite. It’s for blinding white outs. State level mostly but counties are picking it up for it’s inexpensive?
Rewatched! Soil conditioner fan! Love the instant gratification you get when done...
