    Thank you sir! During my mock tests I’ve made serious faults almost every time, but on my exam I’ve passed the first time and only got 2 minors. It’s a basketball principle - it’s better to miss everything during the warmup, so you will make every shot during the actual game. Your video helped very much. Thank you!

Mark 1.15 15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Hebrews 11:6 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Jesus

    When you move the transmission to the left into S/M it is still automatic, but with gear switches that happen in a higher (sportier) rev range. On your dash you will see it changing from D to S1, S2, etc depending on what gear the transmission is in. Then when you start using the paddles, it will switch to manual, with gears denoted by M1, M2, etc.

  • @ChimpOnCars
    @ChimpOnCars22 күн бұрын

    Yes it is exactly as you describe it. The sportier engine revs are first noticed as the car changes down a gear often but remains an automatic until you use the paddles.

    Does sport mode take a lot of fuel or nornal like eco driving?

  • @ChimpOnCars
    @ChimpOnCars22 күн бұрын

    The car will burn more fuel as it stays in the lower gears longer allowing the engine to rev more The throttle is also more responsive.

    Those things are dangerous because you might not see well this is why we have blind spot monitor system and if I was reversing and a car is coming up to my right side my blind spot monitor will flash and it will make a sound and that’s why we hate the circle mirrors so I rather get a blind spot system

  • @ChimpOnCars
    @ChimpOnCarsАй бұрын

    Those systems are good too. These circles don't take up much room so if you don't have a system fitted or can't afford an aftermarket system then they are a good alternative. The advantage of these is that they are great for seeing kerbs or parking bay lines.

    Has the driving test changed in the recent years? Unless I am misremembering, hitting/touching the kerb was a fail for the test? Is that not the case?

  • @ChimpOnCars
    @ChimpOnCarsАй бұрын

    Good question, it comes up a lot. It is a safety test so as long as you are safe then all good. Hitting a kerb hard or going up it would often be classed as unsafe and a fail. Touching kerbs with no pedestrians close would often be safe enough to pass.

    This is literally the only way I can parallel park - but I find it doesn’t work if there is a car parked across the other side of the road and it is narrow as it feels like I’m going to hit them. Any tips?!

  • @ChimpOnCars
    @ChimpOnCars2 ай бұрын

    Thank you for commenting! This method of parking is intended to help you get the feel for parking when new to driving. With experience you will adapt this to park in situations like you mention and smaller spaces. When you are in a narrow road you will start turning into the space sooner but use a little less steering to avoid getting close to the cars on the opposite side of the road. You will almost always find that you need to shunt back and forth in the gap to get the car in and parked unless the space is very big. Practice is what you need so find this situation and give it a go. Most things in life improve with practice so just keep safe while giving it a go!
