  Hi Erin, i do low carb but i eat a different flavour mayonnaise on the side of my meats at every meal. I have 9 different mayonnaises in my fridge like lemon&pepper, Sriracha, ranch, baconnaise, garlic etc. This really helps me to enjoy my meats and i love having a choice at every meal. Just thought I'd share in case you find it useful but i know not everyone loves mayonnaise ❤

  Hi. Could you use the recipe cards from green chef to recreate those meals rather than having them delivered? We do this with Gousto. I'm thinking of trying Green Chef for a few weeks and then recreating them myself. For ease, you could even organise the ingredients into packs in your fridge and cupboard before putting the shopping away x

  Hi Erin, I spend a lot of money on food as I really prioritise my health and my family's health. My shopping is mainly whole foods and very little processed, i also buy a lot of good quality meat. But as my 3 children are older and eating adult portions there is no way that i could afford those meal boxes for a family of 5. I think you should try making the low carb meals yourself. If you give the kids the same meals as you and Rich then they'll get used to eating like that and you won't have to cook 2 separate meals as they're getting bigger. I know the kids don't need to eat low carb but one meal a day that is low carb will be very good for them as it generally means that they'll eat a lot more vegetables when you take out the rice/pasta etc. It certainly is a balancing act trying to eat well but also trying not to spend a fortune on food 😊❤

  My doctor has talked with me about various diets including paleo , what u can’t get my head round d is that they eat bread in France , pasta in Italy and rice in Asia so why aren’t they suffering the levels of obesity that we have in uk , maybe it is ultra processed food or just portion size , interested in how you are getting on , how are your energy levels ? X

  Yes I know what you mean, it seems like carbs are the enemy here but not in the other countries. It is really hard the first week or so but feeling great.

  I loved the story about Brodies citizenship. I'm Irish and as my children were both born in England, I got them Irish birth certificates and passports, I'm very proud to be Irish and proud that my children are Irish citizens so I really understand how you feel Erin.   They are dual citizenship. They are both British as born in UK and then we applied for their US citizenship through them being children of a US citizen.

  Thanks for sharing your budget with us Erin! I'm trying my best to clear our mortgage early (interest rates are crazy) but so many things keep popping up. I've just got to keep trying where I can. As long as I'm not being foolish with my money then I don't let it get it to me too much - we'll get there eventually x

  Have you ever thought to buy 3 chickens 1.4 from Morrisons for £10, I buy these remove the breasts and freeze in two's, the legs I freeze all 6 together. Then the 3 carcass are frozen until I cook to make broth at the same time I will cook the 6 legs. 2 will be eaten with a meal and the other 4 I will make a stew with some of the broth, you can either freeze or can the remaining broth. These chickens have large breasts thats why I buy them. Thanks for the video

  Non budget related, but very interesting you've lived in the UK 20 yrs and not one hint of an accent (to my American ear), just using some different terminology... I lived in the Midwest for 2 years and you would've thought I lived there my whole life with the accent I picked up😂 I've lost most of it now being back on the west coast for 20 years, but I still get asked occasionally where I'm from which I have to break their hearts and say "uhhh here in the PNW"😂 (anyways enough with my rambling)
