    !!!!! Use the BLUE fluid that's designed for your Honda, NOT green. Don't use water from a hose, use a flush or a mix of distilled water and vinegar to clean, then flush and fill with the blue.

    Tell the metric /standard size tools that you use while doing the job. It gives more detail. Good vid though. I liked it.

    Use your old oil with 50% diesel mix and you have the best wood stain for your fence or deck and it protects against termites 👍

    Hey just had a question. I have a 97 Honda Accord and does the block heater connector go on the radiator drain valve? Is this right? Because I read it it another thread.

  • @NjoyMoney
    @NjoyMoney2 жыл бұрын

    U dont have to turn on the heater, you just turn the switch to hot, making it actually blow doesnt change anything

  • @PersimmonPeach1145
    @PersimmonPeach11452 жыл бұрын

    How so? I’ve seen multiple coolant flush videos stating to turn the ignition and turn the heater on

  • @NjoyMoney
    @NjoyMoney2 жыл бұрын

    @@PersimmonPeach1145 there is the heater core inside the car where coolant goes, and you get hot air inside the car because the coolant is hot. If you have the vent switch on cold, it closed the access to the heater core and air can be trapped in the heater core and not get out. When you put the heater on HOT, it opens the access to the heater core so coolant can flow in it and any air trapped in it can escape, but you dont have to ACTUALLY put the vents on to blow air, the spinning vent that blows the air, is not connected to the coolant in any way. That was a terrible way to explain, hopefully u understood, my english is not the best :)

    LMFAO, YOU CAN'T PRIME THE OIL BY TURNING THEY KEY ON & OFF, THE FUEL PUMP YES BUT NOT THE OIL PUMP. IF YOU WANT TO HELP GET THE ENGINE OIL A BIT FASTER FILL YOUR FILTER UP WITH AS MUCH OIL AS POSSIBLE BEFORE INSTALLING IT, BE VERY FAST IF DOING IT ON YOUR CAR SINCE IT SITS SIDEWAYS. THE FILTER WILL SOAK IN QUITE A BIT OF OIL IF YOU FILL IT FIRST & THEN START YOUR OIL CHANGE, THEN ADD A BIT MORE.

    Am I lost or did he only hand tighten the drain plug? I just got an oil change at Valvoline and they said I had an oversized drain plug and could only torque it to 15ft lbs. Was trying to figure out what torque settings you used here.. Just got the oil changed so it's tedious to get my catch pan fixed with a tap set cause I'm pretty sure they won't reuse the new oil coming out of it and charge me for an oil change again.

    I recently just took my car to the mechanic to fix problem. Poor shoddy work and the worse of all was that they forgot to put the under carriage splash guard back up. Two weeks later ... while checking the work on car I realised the splash guard was missing. I immediately drove back to the mechanic shop to tell them my splash guard was missing.... after some mean words. they let me go at the back in the work area and lord and behold... there was my splash guard sitting on top of tyres being used as a tray by other mechanics to put their work tools on top ... needless to say ... I am not going back there ...

    Many hardware stores like Ace, Lowes, HarborFreight, Napa, HomeDepot, and many more. Sometimes Walmart, but they will order it for you so the wait is long.
