Are you a frustrated guitar player? Been playing guitar for years but are having a hard time understanding guitar scales or even guitar chords? Or when to use them for guitar improvisation? How is your Music Theory? Do you yearn to understand how Modes work? Want to learn when to use a Pentatonic Scale vs a Major Scale or Minor scale? Heard about the CAGED chord system but don't truly understand the guitar yet? Want to learn all the best guitar tips and tricks in a truly understandable manner, and better yet play guitar with confidence? Well, you have found the right place.
My name is Ian Stich. I truly understand what is going on in the mind of our favorite guitar players and also what is in the mind of a guitar student. I invented the NeverLost Pentatonic series to show students how easy the guitar can be. Let's take those guitar tabs you have been learning and become confident, educated guitar creators.

I've seen a lot of tips, but these are very helpful. Thanks!
Great
Hello! I was wondering What the difference is between your course ”Blues soloing Decoded” at Truefire and your ”Blues Master Class 1” at Udemy and which one is best suited for a beginner?
Noice !
You are The Best.!
Great lesson, thank you!
Amazing Lesson, Stich. This was a big one! I would hear Rick from Goose play arpeggios but they sounded so musical and not practice routine-y? This makes a ton of sense
Such a great lesson. I was just wondering... could the chord at the end of the second line (at 'been' in the line 'Where the wedding has been') be an A minor?
Muah
I would change that master formula to have the human element over the chords as well….its all over the chords….great lesson btw…
Nice lesson Ian! This might be the impetus to finally attempt the JGB After Midnight > Eleanor > After Midnight jam... those haunting leads on that are the best. Hope you are well!
Great lesson. Greetings from Australia!
thank you for the lesson but Brother thank you for that amazing smile Bro!
Jerry liked to play around the melody
Very nice !! but now I have to go beat my guitar on the oak tree outside ! and jump in the pond !
Delightful lesson. Instructive and supportive from a good man.
what about the lower notes though? do i just play the scale?
That is wonderful .. cheers sir.
You're the man!! You answered so much for me.
Your videos fell off my radar . I'm glad to get these videos again. I will recommend your lessons to others .
I just found you and I'm glad I did,,,,hopefully you didn't poison yourself.!! lol
Well, to be honest eric johnson knows a lot of stuff on guitar that i dont
Another great video. I may have join your site. You make things look so easy, and understandable.
Thank you.
Can we have Yesterday now in the same fashion?
I don't have a teacher and I am not good at music or instruments, but this guy is really a good help and the best teacher. Now I love to play guitar.
They all come to stitch lalalalalalaaaa.😅 Such a hauntingly beautiful arrangement. Brings chills. It really wants to break your heart. Good stuff
Excellent! Well done Groovy One! Thanks loads! Stay Well.
Amazing vid. You are a blessing to us, Stich!
You seem to be such a nice person. Brilliant teacher to!👍
You are a teacher i've always watched and admired from a distance, because you need a certain threshold of knowledge to be able to understand some of your videos. The day i can simply learn from you without picking and choosing will be an achievement in of itself.
Thanks for sharing.🎸👍
Thanks for putting the type of guitars!! I’m nerdy. You are a fantastic teacher and a great player
Guitar neck is equal width. How is it possible. I have a gs mini Koa and it has very narrow neck near the nut. And the neck has variable width. Maybe video doesn’t show details. So I’m just wondering is it ordinary gs mini or special edition.
Really interesting and useful kind of guitar lesson> Gonna play it slow on the electric, lots of reverb and temolo
Gotta love Ian Stitch!
Dude! Where have you been?
This is freaking awesome, I have to learn this. Thank you so much
Nice😊
Just brilliant. Thank you!
Thank you! Really linked some things together for me , theory wise.

Wonderful clarity , insight and expression. Your enthusiasm radiates. Thank you sir.
Very innocent tutor ❤
Great Lesson 😊
Is this the introduction to the "Nashville numbering system"?
No, that is about the harmonized major scale, this is about associated your fret numbers of your chords so you can rely on the frets as guides for chord tones in your soloing.
Thanks, I've been really focused on the Nashville system and modal diatonic scales that rise from each scale degree usually blasting thru each mode with the same root tone, and then climbing the diatonic tones of a mode and switching the scale shape so that the key doesn't change. My working theory being if I can play any mode/scale and know where all scale degree's placement regardless of where I happen be at anytime rather than worrying about the "arbitrary" note name.... I must be missing something.... I can recognize songs but I failed aural skills 2 as a guitar major, because enrolled as a beginner and guitarist and earned A+ average easily until we reached sheet music and transcription over shooting my brains 😅
@user-te9lp4tx2r have you seen my music theory video? Search for it and let me know if that helps
These methods are very effective - and they are scientific too.
Underviewed video!!! Such a brilliant idea ❤❤❤❤
Wow, my brain hurts.
Do you always have to put the pentatonic on the V? Or can you put it somewhere else? BTW thanks for the video very esasy to understand ❤😊😊
Yep. Stitches method is like a rocket taking off for guitar learning. It works!
