I will be doing the same thing with my bumper…..great job.
O want to paint my Porsche 911 1970
We can. Send an email to [email protected]
Does it work for temperature control inside the cabin?
I'm sure any extra layers or coatings can help a bit. But they do have better options for temperature control if that's what your aiming at.
Too nice out to finish. But 6min and I’m hooked! I gotta watch this later👍🏼👍🏼
Thank you!! I got more coming
comeback:( remember u have fans waiting for u:)
Soon!!! I promise and I have so much to show all of y'all!
U have instragram bro
Yea dude...Mattfnpratt
clean , I'm gonna buy a supra mk4
You won't regret it
Nice, what grit of sandpaper to sand it down for primer?
The most aggressive grit to use would be 180.... But usually I would use 220 or 320 grit as the finest. And it's best to stick with those finer grits because you don't want your primer to shrink into aggressive sand scratches. Because they will show up later down the road.
@@mattFNpratt thank you
Started from the bottom now where here
Damn bro getting them views up the
Nice work bro
What paint code did you use? I like the color. Matches the car!
1a1 anthercite from Toyota. It's the factory color actually
Hi how are u
Looking good. Can you show more detail on the removal of the driver side?
Man this car is amazing any update on it? I’m watching the whole build up for the third time. Love to know more about its current state. Unless you’re over it and want someone to take it off your hands lol
I have so many videos coming to update you. During COVID I had to make a career move. I took a few years off of all my cars to focus on my shop and the new shop is insane now. I can't wait to get these updated videos out to you guys and show you guys the new shop and explain how it's doing
Fiber rear bumper? Gramstyling?
That color and the wheels are beautiful!!!
Good job! where do your leather covers come from? ebay?
You did right by that Supra. Just a wonderful transformation. Great job!
. . Salut my friend super car super video subscribe subscribe
I'm so invested mam. How did you end up finding this car??? It is my dream to find one in terrible condition and make it myself. I just need to know how to find these 👌🥲 reach out surely
The sky reminds me of me where we do everything in house and everything done by ourselves my general I salute you
I have spider cracks on my bumpers n was planning on dremmelling out the cracks n then bondoing them but worried it won't be flush n I am wrapping over it after priming. Even when I can't feel highs n lows they slightly show through on very certain angles. Luckily I am wrapping it white but still
Damn bro, sell me the car so it can get finished 😉
Haha! I got the time now. Gonna be awesome. Just wait
💯❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Perfect Supra
Hey Matt been a while haven’t seen the Supra do you still have it
Oh yea I don't sell cars....I'm back and kicking ass with it. So very soon! Had a lot going on, all good stuff so I will make sure everyone is caught up so soon!
Nice job! Any chance for future updates on the car?
I am working on it! About the time that I got to this point of the car COVID hit and My job at the time slowed down like crazy. So I actually took my home shop where I built this car and made a business out of it. Now I have a way bigger shop that is doing pretty well I can't wait to show everyone. But lately I've been back to work on this thing and filming every second of it. So soon!
@@mattFNpratt thanks for the reply. Great to hear you're doing well. I recently saw episode of the show Car SOS with mkIV Supra and remembered your videos. I'm looking forward to the video update! Cheers
@@jiritriska5130 that's awesome! I can't wait to be back on a regular schedule here. Very soon!
i dont hate you for the wheel spacers, buy painting the grillls black and tinting lights.......NNooooooo
Haha I had to cause the grill was broken and lights are barely tinted it's not bad. Just wait!
Keep grinding- love the videos. I tried my first fiberglass repair today on my trailer fender after watching your other video on this car. Thanks for the inspiration!
It's not bad! Just keep messing with it. It's wild what you can fix with fiberglass
Where you at bro waiting on the next episode lol
I'mma have it out this weekend lol. Car is damn near done I'm ready to do some other mods like wheels and suspension I just need to get the editing
I like your videos but the cheap skate headlights,,,,
Lol I rebuilt it for a friend... And he had a budget.....
Sir I msg you on insta pls help needed urgent
lol
Great video, I have a gen 1 and planning on General grabbers 37 13.50 on -44mm wheels, with kings 3.0 , do you thank all have to trim as well?, thanks
Yupp!!
The only thing I don’t like is the color 👎🏼
The color is original so it's staying
Your messing your car up my men body kits are for little kids your a grown men leave it stock
Stock is for old men. When I get old and tired I'll leave my cars alone and boring.
Your a Beamer boy now !!!! Stoked
Not to sound like a 'purist' or an ass but he's a "Bimmer" boy. "Beamers" are BMW motorcycles, "Bimmers" are BMW cars. Not something the average person would know, but a car guy nerd, yeah. 😂👍
Haha whatever, I like this chassis so far. I'm pretty happy with it.
@@mattFNpratt You definitely did that e46 justice! It needed someone like yourself that actually cared about it. So what's the next plans for it?? CSL carbon airbox? Would be cool. I built one before out of some 2x2 6oz CF, with internal velocity stacks and it came out pretty good. I get all my composite supplies from Fiberglast. No affiliation, but they sell everything you'd need for composite supplies. The E46 has always had kind of a 'raspy' sounding OEM exhaust, and really most of the aftermarket systems/ catbacks do too. Bimmerworld or TMS make race proven stainless mandrel parts that make them sound SOOOO much better. Hard to explain the odd way the s54 sounds but it's such a badass engine, it deserves to be done justice. Hard to complain about a motorsport designed powerplant with ITB's! Great work man as always, and I can't wait for the next one. 👍😎
Dude that sounds pretty awesome. I know them airboxes can be pretty expensive....but they look and sound badass. I think I will look into that I want to do that for a few cars. Thanks for the input I'm really gonna look into that!....next on the list when it's finished in stock form, is just suspension and wheels....thanks!
@@mattFNpratt Yeah dude they sound awesome. There is just nothing like ITB's at WOT! You just need an Alpha-N tune to run a plenum. Any idea what you're doing for wheels and suspension??
👍👍🔥🔥
Im supposed to be painting a bedrom today and you go and post something...
I'm out here traveling and forgot to do the thumbnail lol
Ive had my HKS kit sitting next to my supra for like 2 months. Ive watched your videos numerous times. I need to take the leap and just try to install it. haha
It fits pretty good! Don't be scared. It doesn't need that much work. Sometimes I go a little over board. Keep me posted
I’m waiting on the next episode !
Let me get it going. I just have to finish editing it. Hang tight!
What specs are the wheels? And offset?
That paint scraper on the sawzall is a great idea! I'm getting ready to paint Raptor bed liner in my Jeep. I tried just a scraper but most of that sound deadener won't come up. Then I remembered your video, so I bought a cheap sawzall and paint scraper to get that stuff off. Thanks for the idea! I'll let you know how it went for me.
That's awesome dude! Keep me posted
I tried the sawzall, and the paint scraper kept popping out. I ended up using a wire wheel to get the sound deadening off below the back seat. It was such a pain that I didn't bother doing it in the front. I'll just sand it flat.
@@WilsonZoneOK That is a bummer. Depending on the temperature outside depends on how easy it comes up.... Now some people go to the grocery store and grab a bag of dry ice and harden that stuff up using the dry ice and then it chips away pretty easy. But it's just bed liner just hammer on a heavy coat over top of it and you won't even notice it
Very nice! I love it because it's understated, but also very well done 👍
Thank you!
Hey man, I remember the supra rebuild days. Those vids was the shit frrr. Keep it up homie.
Thank you and the supra is on the lift as we speak. Videos soon coming
@@mattFNpratt 👀👀👀
Just bought a firebird. Fender side of the bumper is cracked but the pieces are there so this is what I needed.moving to the paint video now
What year firebird? Sometimes their fenders can be a type of plastic. 3M has plastic repair materials that will work best for the f body style firebirds. Keep me posted!
My c4 has a rear quarter panel crack finna attempt a repair myself on it so ill lyk how it goes also super clean car man!
Nice!! Thank ya and definitely interested on how it turns out!
Lol I hate genetic
We hungry
Good!
