Thank you!! Its tough to put out videos weekly because some of these projects are hard to accomplish task weekly...but I have some ideas to produce weekly videos and I think that will help get me floating around more....so hang around!

When I have a complete swap and access to a lift, I just drop the whole drivetrain from the subframe. Especially having that table as long as it's strong enough. We use that type of table at the stealership. Everything comes out as a unit, then you can paint the bay and address any of the suspension stuff like bushings and control arms. Gives you a chance to look everything over and clean it up nicely. Been turning wrenches over 25 years and that's how I do things. Good job nonetheless dude. Cool to see this car go from something I wouldn't get caught dead in with all the ricer stuff to a tasteful example of what this car should be. Not to mention how much money these cars are worth when they are built properly. They're only going to go up in value indeed. 😎

Your right i have done that a few times also. I think if you know what your doing its just as fast dropping it out from the bottom vs top....now when you have a huge turbo on there usually have to take all that off to drop from the bottom. Which could be tricky getting your hands in there. But your right again when i did finally pull this i did make the decision to restor the cross member and suspension while im waiting. So maybe going back in ill go from the bottom. If i do im mentioning you! Lol. Thanks for the imput feel free to share more whenever. Thanks!

@@mattFNpratt Maintenance is the main driver for the pull at the moment (oil pan seal, other “while I’m in there” cleanup stuff), but I’ll also either rebuild the stocker turbos or replace with some smaller BB turbos. I like the smooth, quick spool of the OEM turbos, and have later aspirations for E85, which would put me around 500whp - not looking to go much more than that. I say that now - Mr. Pure Function still owes me a ride in his car... who knows what plans will be after that 🤣😂

I am working on it! About the time that I got to this point of the car COVID hit and My job at the time slowed down like crazy. So I actually took my home shop where I built this car and made a business out of it. Now I have a way bigger shop that is doing pretty well I can't wait to show everyone. But lately I've been back to work on this thing and filming every second of it. So soon!

Things are happening but they're kind of slow. I'll give you a personal update lol. My motor is finished my trans is finished just waiting on me at the moment. Working on a few career changes very busy all for good reasons. I'm finishing up my 240 at the moment and then I'll be working on the Supra in about a week. So final result coming soon

That is true and harbor freight has them fairly cheap too but the real issue is I don't want to store it. But the lift worked great. And I think I keep using it that way. Maybe in the future making an attachment to allow me to use both lift arms and pull from the middle of the lift.

Matt Pratt well I’m 12 mins in and so far so good 😂 I noticed you have the 97 turn signals at 12:18. Do you have a 97 front bumper? I can’t remember. If you could include installing those in a future video I’d appreciate it because I want to upgrade to them as well. You have to modify the wiring harness somehow and if you have a 93 bumper I think you need to drill some holes.

Ok so I actually have a newer bumper....and had newer marker signals brand new but I ended up losing one. Then a subscriber sent me the older ones so I tinted them and used them...cause I have older tails. I do plan for newer ones eventually so I will let ya know. But that's the story on those.

It's at a stall at the moment... Motor is done the trans is done.... Just waiting on me. During that pandemic stuff The body shop I worked at didn't do so well. So I decided to start my own shop which I'll be making a video about soon. My focus has been there lately cuz I don't have a choice lol. the shop starting to smooth out a little bit. And I'm starting to get my time back to work on my own stuff.... So soon!
