What's the maintenance upkeep like on the non-motorized tread? I had a Sole Fitness s77 that had many issues with the motor and the belt needing constant lubrication and then problems trying to recalibrate it back after lubrication application. Not sure what kind of maintenance a slat treadmill would entail and wanting some information regarding this as I need to replace and purchase a new treadmill. Weighing getting a Sole Motorized Slatbelt, vs. an Assault non-motorized tread. Any ideas about the maintenance between these two?
@BestTreadmillReviews3 күн бұрын
In general, slat belt treadmills require far less maintenance. You may need to lubricate the bearings from time to time. Because the Sole ST90 is motorized, there are more potential complications, so it may require more maintenance than a non-motorized slat belt treadmill. This could include calibrating the incline and additional cleaning around the treadmill to keep the motor running well.

I asked this question in the comment to your sole F85 review bc I’m debating between the sole F85 & nordictrack 2450. I’ve read many posts about how bad Nordic track service is. It’s scaring me away from Nordic track even though it comes out on top in a number of “best treadmill “ reviews. I’m wondering if review sites like yours get special attention from Nordictrack where you don’t experience the issues that others do. What are your thoughts and what do you hear about Nordic track’s service and issues?

I am trying to decide between this treadmill & the Nordic track 2450. I keep reading that Nordic track customer service and response to issues are horrible. For this Sole treadmill, is the speed transition (increasing or decreasing the speed) fast (unlike the incline response?). Thanks.
