Soldering is one thing but when you require a microscope...at one point its just cheaper to get someone to do it instead of buying all the equipment.

Just finally got around to installing the older ribbon version I've had for months yesterday on my lite and this would have been so much nicer to have. Also, my picofly board was dead but not by me, touched up the solder joints around the RP2040 chip and it works great now.

16:20 I tend to find many that botched this part up. The unintended pads are too close to the other capacitors (the right side ones), you came close to shorting the right side too! Trying to get out of it is HARD with cheap irons and most often than not they will lose the capacitor trying to fix it. What I usually find out is their soldering tip is not small enough nor hot enough if its too small. I've tested a few methods to counter this for "everyday joes" to do it with their normal irons and the BEST way is to put a tiny layer of solder mask on the unintended caps. It will save their bacon, perhaps you could do it in a video.

I'm still a novice at soldering but have found that just regular tin solder is terrible at flowing. No lead flux core solder and some no clean flux make it nice and flow. The one I use has Sn99 Ag0.3 Cu0.7 with a flux core. The temperature I use depends but 500F or above. But take my temperature with a grain of salt because my tip may not be the best and I'm probably doing something wrong.
