Does it only work on constant ignition? Or could it be coded so that the footwell light only comes on when the dimmer is on.
It works only with ignition on and low or parking lights on.

2 Points: I notice that you've put copper grease on your hub bolts-hub nuts and bolts should not be greased. Secondly, pushing the wedge upwards through one of the hub bolt holes relieves a little more of the pressure between the hub and the shoes when you are removing the hub-saves you from hammering the hub.
Thanks for the tips! Though I have cooper grease on all my cars. But yeah, you need to be carfull not to overtighten the bolts.

I've done too this adaptation on an A3 2011 CR. In my case the clusters displayed with 10% less that real consumption so i put 110. The problem with this adaptation consists in fact that affect the engine performance, become lagging. Overall the fuel consumption at idle increased from 0.52 to 0.58 but the main issue is that the injector deviation increased too much onto injectors with positive values, leaving the false idea that they are defective.
That is highly unlikely. This affects only average consumption DISPLAY and does not have any influence to the engine.
Probably the Ecu to achieve that value of consumption alter some parameters. So in my case I can confirm that alter the injector values. Now is set to default value of 100 and injector deviation is very good and the power of the engine came back.

was this cleaning before or after the replacement of the oil separator? i did this cleaning maybe a year ago because of a trouble cod for EGR valve. since then I found out that maybe I need to replace the oil separator. The car has 225000 km, and probably the oil separator is the original one. I m concern that I will have to reclean the throttle body once again because of the oil separator not doing his job properly. Thanks!

Just don't do this because you will get oil level warnings because the car thinks it is a diesel wich needs 0.5 liters more. When you top the oil up to get rid of the oil level warning you have to much oil in your engine. This is very bad!
That is a valid warning. I was getting quite frequent oil level warnings for some time and I need to check if this is because of this coding. I will pin this comment. Thank you for your input.
