Hi, a "hacker" living in Sofia, Bulgaria who normally spends most of his time with family, work, riding a Downhill/Road and CX bike, running and practicing Street workout. Between Christmas and NY 2016 bored by the bad and cold weather I was sitting at home watching YT. Then a saw a video about a guy building a CNC and said wow! Almost immediately I run to the local hardware store, bought my first welding machine and 9 days later I had my CNC up and running. I felt in love with hacking cool home projects and a few days later bought a bench drill, a vice and a band saw and started experimenting even more...

Do you have link for Wabeco?
What size screws did you use for the baseplate?
Not wasting my time where the content creator is either unwilling or unable to speak and articulate their process.
Great job. Thanks for the info 👍
Some sort of commentary would have been useful!
I have not been very active on KZread for the last couple of years, but I am planning on continuing posting new videos in the near future. In the meantime I am trying to publish more of my recent work on Instagram: @ogy_tonchev

Dude.... you should be a Rock & Roll star ! Pick up a guitar, you'd probably play it like Van Halen right off the bat 🎸
Terrifying in so many ways. 1) Your fingers are getting far too close to the bit. That thing is spinning at 24000 rpm (or so) and cuts WOOD. 2) "Securing" the loose end of the fence with a wood clamp is a horrible, life-changing injury disaster waiting to happen. 3) You don't show clearly how the board is attached to the table but it looks like you're just using one clamp on the table. Do you have a death wish? The trouble is that you're more likely to end up losing a finger or three than actually dying. So: do you have a self-mutilation wish? Finally 4) Switch off the router the second you have stopped routing! ... I give up.
Would have loved to see it in action!
After watched many more videos you are the best, simple & understandable for me like beginners...thankyou so much...
Thanks you too! Have it fun!
Good job teacher. Thank you to share your experience to help the people ito learn. Is Interesting.
Thanks for your comment! Wish you all good!
I used this as a basis for my DIY router table. It turned out to be quite useful. Love the music, too (whatever it was). Thanks !
I know this is an old video but it still applies. Any tutorials or ideas for plywood will always appreciated. Thanks mate 👍
Do you remember what size screw you used on the router plate?
That is a bad idea! the angle grinder disk inst made for that, if it's even slightly unbalanced it could easily explode! even with safety glasses, you might still die! imagine a piece.of shrapnel at like 70 m/s hitting an artery, a tendon or even worse, just buy the disks, these are a few cents a piece for the small ones!
Stop whining how dangerous this is and just wear face mask and glasses. I had a lot of these disc expolode and shatter. If you have safety Gear it is not dangerous.
well ig you dont know about shrapnrl, and these sht will ezplode, you cannot always make it perfectly balanced like a machine does, and sure you wont be blind, but there is still shrapnel it wouldnt be funny to have that hit say your ches t
@@VerbenaIDK it is too Light to puncture clothes.
@@filfil9902 never undereatimate a thing going really fast in your direction it wont be as bad as a angle grinder disk breaking, but trust me, these small lil pieces of shrapnel will have a lot of force and the weight doenst as much as you would thonk, but these would be pretty bad still, even if they dont puncture clothes, since these will be pretty small shrapnel a shirt might be able to stop a big piece but not a nail thin sharp piece of shrapnel going towards you at a good fraction of the speed of sound, i'd say about 70 m/s inst too bad of an estimation since these are spinning st 35000 rpm
@@VerbenaIDK around the half of the blade I use break and send shrapnel before wearing out. They are shitty and will break for no apparent reason. I use a jacket, jeans, tig welding gloves and full face shield to protect myself.
Savage Mechanic, solid.
I will be making this! Thank you for the video.
so where can you buy this milling table, I already have the same drill
This time I will do it manually with the help of WoodPrix plans designs.
Do you remember what size bolts/screws you used for this?
What is that thick paste that is spread on the sides before using the sanding machine?
Show
I think even I could build this 😂
What model is your Makita router Bud? Looks to be just what I want,..... Regards, Allyn Hansen New Zealand
This is fabulous!!!! Ingenious even!!
Muito bom, parabéns 🇧🇷
Woww real project 👍👍😍😍😍
Top 👍👍👍
Absolutely perfect design for me. Fed up with other ideas using a lot of fiddly bits and having lots of room to use it. I’m a hobbyist crammed in a small garage with little room for storage. This idea is first class.
What? Freehand jigsaw? Wow, it turned out to be more beautiful than I could imagine! Nice job, man.
Simple and awesome :)
Gmm.. good Idea! But lean angle of royter?
Great however a suggestion mount the fence on its short side with elongated hole to allow trimmings to move away from the router.
Terrible idea big discs are rated up to 15,000 max and this tool spins at 35,000 enjoy death!
smaller discs are able to spin at lot faster than bigger discs, since smaller disc yield to a lower velocity.
Wouldn't the lower diameter and weight largely negate that?
@@jefferylittleton1005 the maximum allowed rotation speed is related to the stress and displacement caused, inter alia, by centrifugal forces. For a given rotation speed, lower disc diameters yield to lower centrifugal forces
Always wondered why need a separate Plexiglas plate and a fence on tracks. This proved none needed.
This is a great video. Thanks. What finish you used for the wood? And I was wonder what cover you were using for the wood circles that you were covering? Thanks!
Well done. As a weekend hobby woodworker in my retirement, this is ideal.
You are back! 👍
Yes, after a looong break :)
☺👍🤝🇮🇩🙏
Many thanks, even I could follow that!
You are welcome! :)
Buenas tardes compañero la tablita va atornillada a la mesa despues de terminar el proyecto te lo agradesco mucho de cd. de mexico
Thanks for showing. Nice break from planers, thicknessers and tablesaws. 👏👏
Thanks for this. I viewed a few router table videos, and while there were some nice ones there-with bells and whistles, torsion box construction, precision jointing, well-equipped workshop required, etc, etc-when I saw this one with its simple construction and swinging fence, I looked no further. I just added a bolt and thumbscrew at the free end of the fence, the bolt swinging though a short closed arc cut into the base board, to let me easily lock the fence in place. And after my router dropped to the floor when I was setting it up for the first test, I added an anchor in the form of a soft coil spring with a quick-release clip at ether end, that I had in my junk box. It was either that, or go to IKEA and buy a nice cushion for the floor ;-)
Great work. Can we have access to the plans?
Love the end product didn't see most of the video kept falling asleep due to the music LMAO
Great video . Nice job.
Thanks for sharing !
Brilliant.!!!! .....just what I'm looking for.!!!!!!!
I’m just a man..
