2D Animation 101

2D Animation 101

2D Animation 101 is a Cartoon Animation Training Channel for anyone who wants to learn how to bring their cartoon characters and stories to life.

Doing research through KZread, I learned a couple of techniques here and there, but what I couldn't get, (after doing some cartoon animations) was a compelling result. All my 2d animations were just exercises that got me nowhere. No shares. No views.

Then I started to learn about filmmaking, how to actually produce a feature film, how to compose amazing shots, how to do casting, voice recording, animating, doing post production, adding music, sound effects, sound design. And most important of all: How to write a good story.

So I finally decided to put all the resources together in a couple of tutorials that guide you through an easy to follow step-by-step process.

I would be adding training courses each month, every time covering different techniques for specific areas in the production of your feature 2d animation films.

animate every body part seperatly and use green screen and export it to mp4. you want him running you use the mp4 with tje greensscreen with the running legs . you want him to crap something ? you get the idea. just make hundreds of mp4 movements of body parts in greenscreen. after that you can make 1 hour animations in 30 minutes if you want just drag and drop mp4 videos 😂😂😂😂

Can I ask, how long did it take you to complete this? If more time and effort was put it into it for example, could a full episode be created? With different characters, fights, speaking, etc? While keeping to the only using AI/digital art ofc

The tutorial is very good, but it seems there is no second part. Even the link to your course is gone. This is sad.

There is confusion because sometimes you are working in F0, others in F1, and there is a difference in the result of using the tools. Like in the last fix, with the feet, you are working in F1 which is why the feet move with the bone. But we were in F0, where that dosent happen.

You are really over selling it. What people dont know is even though you have alot of tutorials, it will cost thousands in courses to actually learn! No proper lessons in actually making and rigging ur own characters. No tutorials in hoe to categorise them and how to face problems. Ontop of the expensive software, you also need hours and hours to get barely anywhere. Ive watched every tutorial and been on thr software every day for no less than 12 hours. Its almost impossible

Hi mate, thanks for your tutorials, I always learn so much. This is a great effect but for some reason when I press the play/pause button the animation doesn't show, yet when I manually use the play scroll circle I see the effect. I've used spring bones effect on a prop. Thanks for your time.

Hello. A few days ago I bought Carton Animator 5. Please explain to me if there is a template or tutorial how to rotate my character around the axis 360 degrees (not the head but the body). I searched too much on the internet, but I didn't see a satisfactory explanation. Please, this is urgent. Thank you.

Can you make a very very simple svg and psd template? With just one pair of eyes, nose, mouth, hands, really, one that we will only need to change one and no need to hide the rest truly beginner friendly

Hi Mark the story is engaging and I watched the whole thing.I just think that people needs to embrace AI and its potential and work with it.At the end of the day we will still need animators.
