You do know you just wasted 90% of your compound. Use pad conditioner start, let it soak into the pad for 5 minutes then add 4 or 5 dime side drops of product onto the pad. Some will rub the product into the pad, some just dot the pad into vehicle in several spots to distribute the product. Do not just turn on polisher because most of the product on the pad WILL be spun off in every direction.

What if you don't have a smartphone? Does it have automatic 2 sided printing? More importantly, can you replace the cotton pads that absorb ink when the printheads need cleaning? I've read that if those pads are full the printer will not work unless they're replaced. Also, you didn't peel off the paper on the top of the printheads, I'm surprised that didn't cause a problem.

AC units can be on a breaker bigger then the wire size NEC rules on motors. Depending on what kind of aluminum wire (AA-8000) you may not need antioxidant compound.
@ThatISPerfection4 ай бұрын
Great comment !! I found the nec rules on motors a very interesting read ! this section : Protecting a 14 AWG conductor with a 30A circuit breaker, for example, just looks wrong. But keep in mind that motor branch circuit conductors are protected against overloads by the overload device. That device is sized between 115% and 125% of the motor nameplate current rating [430.32]. The "just looks wrong" would have been my take before reading the code. so you just taught an old dog a new tri...er code :) And yes i was not aware there was a new aluminum wire available : However, today's AA-8000 aluminum alloy is much different than that of AA- 1350. It contains 0.001 to 0.3% zinc, 0.001 to 0.03% titanium, 0.001 to 0.5% manganese, and 0.03 to 0.4% silicon, depending on product specification. This combination produces excellent strength and resistance to corrosion again great comment !!

I have to agree on the knob and tube ! at least the conductors were separate from each other... so no chance of the two conductors shorting out. The broken link part of knob and tube is that the electrician would solder in ( tin) any where along the wires .... so if the joint weakened a short could occur . Not being in a box to starve it of oxygen it was free to start a fire. But Thanks SO much for the comment . Glad to hear you removed it all !!

Those watching might not understand the importance of aluminum corroding. In the home we used to live in, someone, sometime, had installed aluminum Sylvania breakers (oh, how I hate those super expensive breakers!) and they had not used any anti-corrosive gel on the aluminum busses. The problem with not using anti-corrosive is this: copper oxidizes/corrodes just like any metal. BUT, cuprous oxide is conductive. Aluminum oxide is NOT! When aluminum corrodes, the "oxidation" or "aluminum rust" causes a barrier between the two elements - breaker and wire or breaker and panel buss. This means that when the electricity forces its way across or through the barrier, it does so in the same fashion as an arc welder. It is arcing across the barrier. This is what causes fires. This can occur in a panel or in an outlet in a wall. Just sayin'.

Worked as a major appliance repair tech for 23 years. Often ran electric stoves that wouldn't get very hot. Right off I knew they miss-wired the stove or the outlet. They would say they had an electrician wire it. Probably not. One guy did it himself. I explained how he had made the whole stove cabinet hot and could have killed someone. He said he didn't know. That's why they have electricians. If you screw up plumbing, you may have a flood. If you screw up electrical, you may die.

Marte, sure. think of the pads along with the compound as being different grits of sand paper. The BMW is old but is a garage puppy and the paint was in decant shape. I used the green pad first ( is a medium cutting) and finished with the white ( is a ultra fine ) The black is a waxing pad. My box truck is old and sets out in all the elements. I started with the blue pad ( a course cutting ) I followed with the yellow ( fine cutting) followed again with black for polishing. Both turned out Great. The machine with combination of pads and compound yielded amazing results !! So to conclude I would say chose your pads based on the quality of your paint. Hope this helps Don

humm this is going to be a long answer. 75-78 worked for a contractor. 78-85 started my own business, did some cabinet refacing, started my own cabinet shop. 85 went to work for a cabinet company with 35 employees. this is where my passion for sales started. i would say because i came from a single parent in a coke oven patch town. i sold retail kitchens , but i would sell more than the install teams could handle so i started selling commercial casework as well. those were the good old days.... about 12 years ago i decided to build my own shop, that is what you see in the videos today, yes I do custom case work, build some kitchens and also use conestoga wood cabinets.so full circle there is a certain appeal creating something with your own hands ... standing back and and saying wow i did that, and that elation of a customer you that is perfection... sorry this became so long

Ratio is 40 percent alcohol 50 percent water. if your wife has a measuring cup measure out 4 ounces of alcohol and 6 ounces of water. if she does not you can go to a paint store and buy a quart mixing cup. third option buy a 8 ounce bottle of pop. fill it all the way up with water dump that into a container. then take the bottle and put alcohol in it leaving about a inch from the top. hope this helps ! welcome to the tip Chanel !! thanks for the comment !!
