I'm going to have my extra-small photo studio soon and this video comes in very handy :) Actually I subscribed here and followed you on instagram because you are so inspiring!!:) I actually got a question: where do you buy the gallery boxes? Is it something you buy or build yourself? Thank you:) Also one more question: What do you think is a too little space for a photo studio? I'm afraid the one I'm getting is going to have enough space for product photography but not enough for portraits Thank you! Will whatch all of your videos! Sabina :)
@chriskronseder4 ай бұрын
Hi Sabrina, thank you so much for your kind reply. We buy our gallery boxes at the local art supply, they usually use them to display sculptures etc. :) I guess the most important thing is that you find a space you feel comfortable working in. Our studio is pretty small (30 square meters) but we have lots of storage in our attic and everything works fine. For bigger productions we rent a studio as well, as we do not want the added financial pressure of owning a bigger studio ourselves. Hopefully this helps and best of luck for your own studio :)

Polaroid film is so terrible compared to Instax. Not to mention it's overpriced and needs to be babied. Not worth the hassle for the poor results. The Instax doesnt look like digital at all really, it looks like quality film. If you put the Instax shot up next to a shot from a digital camera, you would be able to tell the difference right away. Film is not supposed to look poor quality and out of focus like the Polaroid shots, I dont know why some people think it does. Maybe they are used to disposable film cameras.

@@SirFunky Modern Polaroid film is garbage. Its wildly inconsistent and the color shifts are awful unless you are in perfect weather and the film has to be properly stored, which its not because nowhere except B&H refrigerates the film, it just sits in a warehouse. Then it has to be babied and hidden from light after its shot. I know exactly what Im talking about having owned a dozen Instax cameras and half a dozen Polaroid camera. The Impossible Project film is garbage compared to the original film, sorry.
