This channel is dedicated to the life and work of Kris Kristofferson.
Copyright infringement is not intended. I've made the videos to the songs just for entertainment and creative purposes with no financial gain.
If any copyright shareholders want a video to be removed, please notify me and I'll remove it myself. Thank you.
I have deleted all movies except for the Amerika miniseries. You still can find some movies in my other channels tinsta156 and biggieKKfan. Sorry about it, but I have been punished with two strikes within a couple of weeks only for movies that aren't in the stores anymore and seemed to have been forgotten anyway by the copyright owners for years or decades. It was the Knights movie and Two for Texas, what a shame!!!

I had no idea this was Kris K as the only version I ever heard was Johnny Cash. Now I can like the song twice as much.
Time of my 18 years old, 1969. This incredible song will stay with me forever. Thanks to Kris Kristoferson the best of the best songwriters as well to Waylon, Johnny Cash and Willie that performed in high level this show in Long Island
Grateful to all the most poetic an d wonderful words, your warm voice that speaks the lyrics to my ears As with Cohen you are irreplaceable,
such a talented man he puts new country music to shame
One of my absolute favorite KK song, thanks for posting. I still think I am the biggest KK fan. 😊. Joe
@@joeyhester5936 you're welcome 😊
They killed so many heroes in GAZA and in PALESTINE. FREE PALESTINE
Miss Lorrie! Just wow! ❤ Kris, you're not too shabby here either...wink, wink. With much luv, Terry King's daughter. 0:33 👌
I love this song, Kris's version is best; Willie's is to slow and Johnny's was to upbeat and cheery sounding! I asked my family and friends to play this at my funeral complete with the video when God calls me Home! I can relate to it so much and not just the addiction part, but all of it!
@@brianbaswell5895 Thank you, though I hope you'll be spending lots of years here on earthy earth still 😉
22.06.2024 Happy Birthday Kris
Nowadays this looks like Slipknot.
Found some one else😅
Best wishes Kris, i saw your show every time you came to ireland since early seventies. The last time was a few years ago in Dublin. Everyone in the audience sang along, and you were happy to let us. So sorry you wont be back, but i play the CDs regularly.
If only we had Telly Savalas also singing with Johnny Cash and Kris Kristofferson 💯
Johnny cash é maravilhoso ❤

22nd July 😉
Love you Charlie Manson
one of my favorite movies ever
Seeing Willie without a beard gave me a bit of a shock. I assumed that it was permanently attached to his face en went back to Austin.
Wow. Awesome ❤
The only thing that always bother me is my doubt if he could actually play the guitar? He makes such strange move as if he's always playbacks. He stops playing , but the music goes on. I don't know. He may be a great singer and an excellent songwriter, but don't make it look if you can play the guitar if you can't. Someone explains it to me?
he CAN play the guitar. He even tried the 12string 😊 He is not Willie on the guitar nor is he Stephen Bruton who'd play all the different guitars when touring with Kris and the Borderlords. But Kris does play! From 2008 to 2017 he was touring all by himself, playing the guitar AND the harmonica. You can check this in some videos in my channel. From 2018 to 2019 The Strangers, Merle Haggards Band, would tour with him, which also was amazing. You can find videos of that in my channel also. Without the guitar Kris wouldn't know where to put his hands 😅
Happy Birthday Kris Kristoffersonxx
STILL BETTER than any music made today!
i agree taylor shiff can't sing at all

I wasn't sure what think about this song when I heard Kris Kristofferson sing the first line ... "a hunk of a man with a beer in his hand" and then I heard the whole song and I think it's the best country song ever written Shel Silverstein is amazing!
What a gift to the world
Just woke up from a dream where this song was playing while I was staring at the eternal sky! It was majestic! I’d like to see that dream again! Long Live Kris!
Pity they never recorded this on one of the highwaymen albums or performed it in their concert dvd.
My son is an alcohol and drug addict. After over 30 years of always trying to be there for him he threw me away when he put his fist in my face calling me vile vulgar names threatening to punch me out. I had to walk away for my own safety and peace of mind. There was no contact until 5yrs later he called out of the blue saying he was "I'm clean mom". Then claiming I used to sing this Sunday Morning Coming Down song to him when he was a boy. But I had never heard of this song and certainly couldn't have sung it to him. Then he was the green chair in the corner. I said what green chair and he yelled on the phone saying he was the green chair in the trailer. I knew then he was stoned. Another piece of my heart broke. Afrerwarda I found the song and listened. That was introduction to this sad heartbreaking song about alcoholism and drug addiction.
Love you Kris; always. A master of the true word.
