    Got some X-TRM digitals from amazon today for $70 and just saw this video. The headband is all rubber and has no soft cover like it should be. Amazon seems to also sell fakes. will be returning these.

    You are 100% correct. Even according to an ammoland study done on 104 bear attacks it even appears bears are just not that motivated to continue attacking while being shot by a 22lr. I might not carry a 22lr, but then again I have a tiny package.

    Bruce Jenner back in the day was pretty good with a pointed stick, they called it a "javelin". Yeah .22LR will just bounce off a grizzly in a winter coat.

    I got one for you guys. My husband and I were in Las Vegas several years ago and we wanted to go eat at Stratosphere for our anniversary. We rode the Tran as far as it went and then thought we would walk the rest! But, because we are older though we would catch the bus from there. As we were standing there reading which bus to get on, a young man stood next to my husband (with a skateboard in hand) and I felt the need to stand in between them! I just knew as soon as my husband pulled out his wallet to pay for the bus ride the dude was going to grab and go! Don’t miss understand we have been to Las Vegas several times as a matter of fact we got married there in 2012 and had been there way before that. Please be careful and safe and always watch the people around you!

    what did the young man end up doing? did he get on the bus?

  • @Sherrie-zb5hf
    @Sherrie-zb5hf8 күн бұрын

    @@gunhobbywithdannythemedic no he got on his skateboard and rode away! Then I explained to my husband what was about to happen if I didn’t step in between them. He was so into figuring the correct bus to get on and not thinking of the young man standing next to him.

    Short answer, absolutely unequivocally NO! Unless, due to physical limitations there no way you can handle the recoil of anything larger. And for the genius who say that the people who bad mouth the .22 wouldn't volunteer to get shot by one. Let me put in to logical perspective, no one would volunteer to get herpes. Herpes won't save your life in a gun fight. .22 might be fine for you, that's great. God help anyone who follows you half baked uninformed ramblings.

    Meh. Danny the medic is right. Comparing Herpies to a 22lr is a false equivalency. A submarine and a boeing 747 have more in common. Now if you happened to give someone herpies and they are really really pissed about it, then yeah, you should definitely carry something bigger than a 22lr when they show up. If not, a 22lr will do the job.

    I installed this on my EDC S&W 637. I like them. One thing that I think should be addressed is the fact that the tackiness makes it easier to conceal carry without a holster in an A/IWB configuration. Also, they don't add too much to the length of the grip than the original grips and it still makes the handgun easy to pocket carry

    come on danny...you are ducking the question. you know what ppl mean if you feel safe or not. despite what the media said how dangerous nyc is now in 2024....compare to the 1980's and 1990's when i grew up as a kid in nyc....it is a cake walk. so give us your real opinion about safety in las vegas. do you feel you are safer in las vegas vs nyc or vice versa. i know in nyc, i'm not gonna walk all by myself in rough neighborhood such as harlem, east harlem, east new york, the bronx around 1 am, 2 am , or 3 am etc. if u do that...u are just looking for trouble.

    Większość rzeczy na tym świecie, jest chińskie. To przez zachłanność producentów, którzy korzystają z taniej siły roboczej Chińczyków. Przez to, Chiny stały się najsilniejszą gospodarką świata a USA drukuje, swoje już nic nie warte dolary.

  • @gunhobbywithdannythemedic
    @gunhobbywithdannythemedic2 ай бұрын

    Most things in this world are Chinese. This is due to the greed of producers who take advantage of cheap Chinese labor. As a result, China has become the strongest economy in the world and the US is printing its dollars, which are no longer worth anything.

    Ca. Dept Corrections, 25 years, now retired. You couldn’t begin to imagine how many Board of Prison parole reviews for lifers that I sat in on where the convict killed his victims with a 22L R. Many said they didn’t want to kill the person but just wound them . Never under estimate the power of that cartridge. .22 mag is just that much more powerful. Deadly business, both of those rimfires……

    I really liked your video. A agree with a lot of your points Just some of them that i think that i know from experience that aren't really that way Hungry people don't steal. They can't afford to use their energy to run or fight I'm from a third world country, and I got mugged 3 times and had one kidnap attempt Those people were desperate, but not because of food: Drugs. That's why people do dumb illegal violent stuff. Drugs. A guy that is high out of his mind might not understand the situation like me and you. And he definetly 100% does not feel pain like me or you. I still agree that 22lr even though is not the ideal, it is enough for most man to man defensive scenarios. My TX22 has seen a lot more shots than my glock 19, and has failed a lot less (because of bad recharged ammo, obviously) I'd still go for a pistol instead of a revolver, even in 22lr. Because it's easier and faster to solve a pistol malfunction than reloading a revolver

    “Concealed firearm” is a loaded or unloaded handgun which is carried upon a person in such a manner as not to be discernible by ordinary observation (NRS 202.3653), this includes in a carried bag/purse. www.nevadacarry.org/concealed-carry.html
