I think about it all the time, but I made another video talking about why I chose not to keep going. A lot of steongraphers might be unhappy to hear it, but AI voice transcription has become really good and I'm using that now to get text out faster. it's not going to replace a person in a coutroom like ever, but it's good enough for me working across my computer

They might be meticulously slip-cast, meticulously crafted with CAD design precision, and expertly glazed through spraying techniques rather than brushing. Drawing inspiration from centuries of traditional shapes, they exude a timeless elegance that I adore. I really like them. The glaze and clay body could be high fire (cone 7 onwards) because that is what most Japanese ceramics are fired at (unlike low fire Heath).

Court reporting machines don't interact with our software like a regular keyboard. Each word you write follows the last, so you can't just go in and edit a document with your writer. Most of us have never heard to these other keyboards! Now that I have, I can't wait to give them a try to make editing easier. Most reporters do toggle between keyboards on a QWERTY already since our software has a "hot key" keyboard (as well as a few others) to quickly do things like capitalize, stitch words, break up compound words, delete, change numerals to words, etc. So switching between three keyboards would be almost zero learning curve. Thanks for a great video!

Keeping a chart on the wall helps while learning. Also, it helps to use briefs. "This is a lot of fun" doesn't have to be six strokes. For me it would be just three TH-S/LAOF/FUPB. Keep going. Focus on common things you hear/use often. Also there's a ton of court reporting dictation that can help on KZread.

Half frame format doubles the size of the grain for the same printing size. So using 400asa film in bright sunny day in your area is not a good idea. Too much grain and probably too fast in ma y situations. You should have chosen a slower film. If you like the portra rendering, portra 160 can do the job.

Interesting thoughts! I wonder what the comment section will look like in a few years and how it will vary from one platform to the next. I would like to see some more kid friendly filters across the whole internet including comment sections. Although I am not sure there is demand for that.
@JarrenRocks6 ай бұрын
I hope we have improved comments sections using methods like this. It’s exhausting filtering through low quality posts to find good messages. KZread completely disables comments on videos for kids now after they found some degenerates using it as a way to comment inappropriate statements. I think there should be generally safe spaces for children online up to a certain age.

Key Takeaways: - Pro: extend personal boundaries and filters into your comments section more effectively. - Con: could increase echo chamber - Use a custom prompt to rank (0-10) comments based on intent/subject matter. - Filter out low ranking comments - See only comments that are positive, constructive, thought-provoking, etc. - Keep conversations on topic and filter out insults/off topic messages. - Set defaults for your profile, or per post. - Creators could set autoreplies powered by GPT based off of template statements.

You might need to clean the read head, the little sensor in there. Alternatively it could be the cassette that’s an issue. Or even the headphone jack. You’ll have to experiment to diagnose the problem!

For chording: Look up QMK (or its siblings ZMK, KMK, Chrysalis, …). These are the open-source furnaces used by most hobbyist keyboards. Many of those boards are quite small (Corne, Atreus, …). And these firmwares support chords, layers, multi-use keys, tap sequences, and other features. I use a 36-key split board (Gergoplex) running QMK as my daily driver. Small split keyboards might open up your possibilities if portability is a key criteria for you.
