Been a while since I used Capture One. Maybe it is time to come back.

X1D does Wireless Tether, Hasselbald released it in 2016. Unlike Sony it's larger files does not slow it down to Ipad. Reduced my post times by 1/2 and my to client times- faster by 80%.

What timing. I was just trying this the other day with Imaging Edge on a Windows Tablet and it worked pretty well. the Imaging Edge app is a little harder to navigate on a Windows Tablet so I may experiments with an Android tablet and the creators app as well. Thanks for posting.

Question. I understand that you expose the background the way you want. Dark. Approx 1 or 2 stops darker. Then you bring in the light. But how are you determining the output of that flash. Its power output to obtain a proper exposure. It looks like you just eyeball it. That is not reliable for me. Ill view it thru my sony electronic viewfinder or the screen but its hard to know for sure. Id like to meter that flash to know for sure but how are you able to determine the flash output?
