X1D does Wireless Tether, Hasselbald released it in 2016. Unlike Sony it's larger files does not slow it down to Ipad. Reduced my post times by 1/2 and my to client times- faster by 80%.

Very cool! I can see using this for my corporate headshot sessions where they can choose on the spot instead of waiting for a gallery later! Awesome video once again!

Hey Matt, was wondering which versions of Capture One you needed for this. Just the mobile version for the iPad or both that and the desktop version? Thank you for the video!

The timing of this video is incredible. I just found Capture One through an Instagram profile and here you are with this! BTW I FINALLY got my strobes in and I did a shoot the other day and thanks to you I could get it done with confidence!

Super cool Matt! I've been doing wireless tethering with the Cam Ranger but the problem is I have to attach the device to the camera. I really need to check out Capture one!

What timing. I was just trying this the other day with Imaging Edge on a Windows Tablet and it worked pretty well. the Imaging Edge app is a little harder to navigate on a Windows Tablet so I may experiments with an Android tablet and the creators app as well. Thanks for posting.

Question. I understand that you expose the background the way you want. Dark. Approx 1 or 2 stops darker. Then you bring in the light. But how are you determining the output of that flash. Its power output to obtain a proper exposure. It looks like you just eyeball it. That is not reliable for me. Ill view it thru my sony electronic viewfinder or the screen but its hard to know for sure. Id like to meter that flash to know for sure but how are you able to determine the flash output?
