They can absolutely recreate a Christine 2. It can be any automobile you want it to be as the cube gets recycled but the energy takes shape in the next chassis from the melting pot. That can be 20 or 30 years after the fact as police captain finally tells them to move that "pile of shit" out the corner of their lot after all those years.

About these killer car movies where they dump the car in a lake: I realize this has been done, (sorta) in other movies, like, "The Truck", what with the headlights snapping on at the end. And, "Tarzaan The Wonder Car", where the guy was killed and dumped in a lake in his car. But i think the idea could be expanded. Basically, the Motorized Monster could be launched into a lake. The folks, (let's make 'em the bad guys) think that they've gotten shed of the beast. Just as they start to leave however, they hear music playing, and the gurgle of bubbling water. They look over just in time to see the water boiling, and then the car comes driving out, like a mix of, "Christine" and Buford T. Justice's squad cars from the, "Smokey and The Bandit" trilogy.
Random Info about Wheels Of Terror: If anyone is interested: The opening shots (about the first 8 minutes) of the 74 Charger was filmed in Tucson, AZ on Soldier Trail between Ft. Lowell Road and Calle De Samuel Drive. I drove to work each day on Soldier Trail, one day on the way home found a bunch of trailers and film trucks parked on the side of the road - this was probably late 1989. I pulled off and asked what they were filming. One of the camera guys told me about the movie "Wheels Of Terror" they were filming for cable TV. There were two of these '74 chargers there at the time. Really cool to see the beater Charger up close! Possible that they shot some other footage of this car on Wentworth Road in Tucson as well. Anyone who knows the eastside Tucson area will recognize Soldier Trail and the Catalina Mountain range in the background. A couple of tweaks in the script it could have been a solid entry into the killer car genre - Duel, Christine, Wraith (Filmed In Tucson), The Car (which they pretty much ripped off for this movie). Some good thrills and chills, but the unseen psycho creep in the menacing Charger gets the starring role over the rest of the cast and script. If you like Wheels Of Terror, be sure to see THE CAR (1977) with James Brolin, Ronny Cox, and Satan. It doesn't have the scrumptious Joanna Cassidy in the cast, but it's a badass killer car movie all the same. P.S. There were tons of these VHS copies in every Dollar Tree / Dollar General stores for .99 cents about 10 years back. Don't fret - Pretty easy to find this movie on dvdr with artwork on various internet sites nowadays for $10 - $15 bucks. Over and Out......👿

Good old Christine. I once saw a 58 model in a garage parking lot in one of the towns i live between. It was blue and white. Can't remember if it was a Belvedere or a Fury though. On the subject of living cars, by the way, a sort of funny idea comes to mind for a novelty movie you might like. "The Love Bug" from 1997, starring Bruce Campbell. Partway through we learn how the little beetle was brought to life, but then some jerk-water takes that process and corrupts it. The product is a family-movie cross of Herbie, The Car, and a James Bond Special, with a laser cutter, tire slashers in the hubs, and a grenade launcher near abouts to the engine bay. The car's name is Horace, by the way. I figure it could be a Car Chase Classic and Almost Killer Car super-combo.

But that ending.... What a cliffhanger, when i saw the movie i wanted to see a sequel, that never came.
there's no sequel though this was came from 1997 but I would like to see modern version of this especially tesla truck and cybertruck
