Position, when you can do what this guy does, is almost an afterthought. I've seen him play in person at the old Tacony Billiards in NE Philly. He shows up when it counts. I've always wished that I had that kind of time in my life to work on my game. It still wouldn't have made a difference.

To watch him play is like watching Michael Jordan play basketball, Mohammed Ali box, Yo Yo Mah play the cello, Michaelangelo paint, or Hussein Bolt run the 100. Genius takes many forms, and this man is The Buddha of Billiards.

The problem with playing against Efren is he has street knowledge of the game and has played to eat which means to survive which means he knows how to hustle and that is why he is the GOAT.

Yes, a very common drill is to play a straight on shot and attempt to pot the cue ball in the same pocket as the object ball. That means you've aimed dead straight and didn't put any unintentional side spin on it. Another common drill is to draw or screw it back into the opposite pocket while making the object ball. Again, that proves you have a straight, clean cue action.
